The estate is bordered by the River Euchar and offers peace and tranquillity in the beautiful Scottish countryside. The properties, which have wonderful views, consist of a 2 bedroom cottage and a 1 bedroom flat which is above the cottage.
The Cottage:
Sleeps 5 people in 2 bedrooms. It has a fitted kitchen with dining table, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave and washing machine. There is electric heating throughout as well as a wood-burning stove in the sitting room. The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower above it.
The Studio Flat:
Sleeps 2/3 people in 1 bedroom. It is accessed via an outside staircase. It has an open plan, kitchen/dining/living area. The bedroom has 1 double and 1 single bed. The bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment incorporated into the taps.
The estate extends to approximately 450 acres and includes an ancient oak forest. Raera is a working hill farm with sheep, hens and sometimes young cattle.
The area is rich in wildlife, including foxes, otters pine martens and red squirrels. Sighting of buzzards and herons are common with occasional sightings of golden eagles. The Euchar is a beautiful spate river. Its magnificent waterfall has featured in films, including 'Ring of Bright Water'. You may be lucky enough to see a salmon leaping!
