Set on 43 acres of land, it is the perfect base for exploring West Wales, including the beaches of Cardigan Bay, castles, the Wales Coastal Path, and beautiful countryside. Happy Donkey Hill offers three self-catering properties and is dedicated to providing a relaxing getaway for groups of friends, family gatherings, and romantic breaks. Unfortunately, children under the age of 9 are not accepted.

The Stables, which sleeps two, is a charming barn conversion with a private hot tub, gym, and sauna, making it an ideal romantic retreat. It offers stunning countryside views and features a super-king-size bed. The bedroom includes a luxurious Japanese Maple bath and an en-suite with a jet shower, basin, and WC. The open-plan living area comprises a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a wood burner. Guests also have shared access to a separate utility room.

Millers Cottage, which sleeps four, overlooks open countryside and the owner’s donkey sanctuary. The cottage features two bedrooms: one with a super king-size double bed (zip/link, can be converted to twin beds upon request) and an en-suite with a jet shower, basin, and WC; the other bedroom has a double bed, balcony, and en-suite shower, basin, and WC. The bright kitchen with a dining area is perfect for meals, and guests also have access to a shared utility room. The cosy sitting room with a wood burner is ideal for relaxing.

The Dairy, which sleeps six, is a detached, luxurious single-storey cottage in a spacious courtyard that has been transformed from a farm dairy into a superb holiday retreat. Overlooking open countryside and a donkey sanctuary, it retains vaulted ceilings with open beams and features light, airy rooms. The cottage has three charming bedrooms: a king-size four-poster with an en-suite, a twin (convertible to a super king-size double), and a king-size double. There is also a bathroom with a bath, shower, basin, and WC. The well-equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar for six. Guests can enjoy the cosy sitting room with a wood burner and a dining area, both seating eight. A separate utility room is also available for shared use.

All cottages feature a large, private covered hot tub and are fully dog-friendly, with no limit on the number of pets. Each cottage includes enclosed gardens and a secure play paddock for off-lead fun. Guests also have shared access to a gym/games room equipped with table tennis, darts, and a sauna.

We have 3 gorgeous pods to choose from, Beatles (60’s LodgePod), Queen (70’s LodgePod) and Madonna (80’s LodgePod). Madonna and Queen sleep 6 (no more than 4 adults), whilst Beatles sleep 4. Scattered around the pods you’ll find retro artefacts, retro books and mags, LP records, record players or cassette or CD players and a retro lava lamp in Beatles and Queen.

Our family and dog-friendly pods offer everything you need for a tranquil and relaxing getaway in the country, including central heating, a shower, a toilet and a fully equipped kitchen for rustling up some delicious dishes. The Aquaforno 2 Pop Up Pizza Oven & BBQ Grill are ideal for al fresco dining whilst the sun is shining.

You can unwind in the cosy living area in front of the 32" Smart TV after a busy day exploring. The comfortable bedrooms even come with a 24’’ smart TV with Amazon to catch your favourite show own.

Outside there are deck chairs and an 8-seat picnic table, offering great places for a coffee whilst savouring the views.

We also have a fantastic BBQ hut, great for a special home-cooked BBQ on a rainy day. Use of the hut is for an additional fee. Onsite we have a range of wonderful pampering sessions, perfect for rejuvenating your mind and body.
