Abel’s Cottage offers a secluded coastal Cornish escape in a unique ancient barn conversion, which oozes character and charm. Snuggled amongst woodland and fields in the tranquil Cornish landscape it sleeps six in two doubles and a twin. Slate floors, wooden beams, thick stone walls, cosy wood burner, well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds - all just a three minute walk to the spectacular coast path.

Crackington Haven, a fabulous beach, is a seven minute drive away or an hours glorious coastal walk. Well located to explore the many delights of Cornwall. Family run for over forty years, most of our visitors return again and again and again...

Accommodation

Our charming cottage is perfect for a magical getaway in a gorgeous location. Over 300 years old, the beautifully converted barn now offers modern accommodation. The barn sleeps up to 6 people in total.

The cottage is brimming with character, offering lots of original features, whilst providing cosy accommodation. Our open plan kitchen and living space will suit all your needs. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully equipped kitchen that comes with a dishwasher, microwave and spacious fridge-freezer. Unwind in the front of the large TV with Netflix after a day sightseeing. A DVD player and board games are also available. A wood burner is perfect for those chilly days.

On the mezzanine floor is a double bed, a double room with a king-size bed and a twin room. The rooms share a bathroom with a bath and shower.

Visiting Crackington Haven & Exploring Cornwall

Our 200 metres from us is the scenic coastal path. You can also visit stunning Crackington Haven Beach, just a 7-minute drive away. The popular surfing sandy beach of Widemouth is 6 miles to the North, whilst Bude with all amenities and two popular beaches is 10 miles North. Attractions to visit include:

Cudden View Cottage, Marazion, Cornwall (Sleeps 1-2)

Cudden View Cottage is a very pretty holiday cottage in Marazion with fantastic view of Cudden Point.

Accommodation

Our holiday cottages sleeps 2 adults + baby and we have off street parking for one car.

First Floor - The fully fitted Kitchen features electric hob, grill and oven, separate microwave oven, fridge, freezer, electric kettle, filter coffee machine, cafetiere and toaster. There is a separate Dining Area with dining table and chairs (highchair also available).

The Lounge area has comfortable seating for two, TV with Freesat from Sky box, video recorder, DVD player, radio/CD player. The Lounge leads through French doors to the private Balcony with table and chairs, and spectacular views over Mount's Bay towards Cudden Point and the Lizard.

Ground Floor - Double Bedroom with king-size bed, built-in wardrobe/storage shelving, bedside tables and lamps. Beneath the stairs is a Washer/Dryer as well as storage space for suitcases etc. Bathroom with corner bath, hand basin, w.c., separate electric shower unit in 800mm cubicle, mirror with twin-power shaver point and light, heated towel rail, electric fan heater.

Electricity and water charges are included, and all bedding and bed linen, tea towels, loo paper, kitchen towel, cleaning and washing-up materials are provided at no extra cost. Also included on request are cot, highchair and stairgate. All you will need to bring is cot bedding (if applicable).

Marazion and the surrounding areas are extremely stunning and there are plenty of fabulous beaches to visit and lots to entertain the whole family.
