Our unique chalets are beautifully furnished and come with a range of superb facilities to suit all your needs.

All the chalets come with a lovely open-plan lounge/kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchens have an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and water heater. You can unwind in the lounge which has a TV, comfy seating and a dining suite.

One double is in the front bedroom, with twin beds in the rear bedroom. An additional Z bed can be hired for an additional charge. Bedding is provided.

We also offer fantastic chalets with gated verandas, including al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. They are great for added privacy and perfect for your friend as well. They also come with an on open lounge/kitchen, comfy seating, a TV with Freesat or European Satellite TV and a dining area. Some chalets come with a sofa bed in the lounge. The fully-equipped kitchen is great for home cooking and includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and kettle etc.

Please note that electricity is available through a £1 coin meter.

We are a great base for exploring the local area. A short stroll away is the spar mini-market, a hairdressers pharmacy and medical centre. Alderwood Lodges, Garboldisham, Diss, Norfolk (Sleeps 1-6)

Alderwood Lodges consists of three luxury timber lodges situated in Diss literally a few yards from the Norfolk/Suffolk border. The market towns of Diss & Thetford are only 8 miles away. These lodges are furnished to a high standard and are situated in nine acres of woodland and grassland beside the Little Ouse. This tranquil site on the edge of the Brecks with unique flora and fauna holds the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation.

Burnside
This is a two bedroomed lodge with kitchen/diner, lounge area and bathroom. The open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area has two 2 seater settees and a TV/DVD player. French doors open onto a verandah with garden furniture to enjoy outdoor meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and automatic washer/dryer. There are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath and overhead electric shower and a shaver socket.

Hawthorn Lodge
This has three bedrooms with lounge/dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The open plan lounge/dining area comfortably seats six people, with 3 and 2 seater sofas and a chair, positioned around an electric cast iron coal burner. There is a widescreen TV, DVD player, mini Hi-Fi unit and a telephone. The dining area has a table and chairs to seat six. French doors open onto a south-facing verandah with garden furniture to relax outside with a drink. There are three bedrooms comprising a master room with a King size bed and en suite shower room; one twin room and one bunk room, both with full-size beds. There is a toilet, shower and washbasin en suite to the master bedroom. The main bathroom is equipped with a full-size bath with overhead shower.

Brambles
Brambles has two bedrooms, lounge/dining area, kitchen and bathrooms. The lounge seats 4 people in 2 x two seater leather sofas around a log effect electric fire. There is an LCD TV with a DVD player, a radio/CD player and a telephone. Free Wi-Fi access is available in Brambles (some download restrictions apply). French doors open out to the south-facing verandah wood decking area which seats 4 people on garden furniture with parasol so you can enjoy a relaxing drink. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything required to provide your own meals. A tumble dryer is in an outside adjacent shed that also houses the charcoal BBQ, recycling bins and space for your bicycles if needed. The king-sized bedroom has an en suite shower. Bedroom 2 is a twin room with full size 3ft wide beds. The main bathroom is equipped with a full-size bath with overhead shower. There is a ramped wheelchair access to the dining/lounge area only.

The nearby town of Diss provides a great base for accessing the Norfolk Broads, the Suffolk and North Norfolk Coast. This area has plenty of interesting attractions such as Banham Zoo, Bressingham Steam Museum, High Lodge Country Park & Activity Centre & the English Whisky Distillery.
