Accommodation

The cabin is designed to accommodate two to four guests and features an open-plan living space with a double bed and a sofa bed. A kitchenette is available for preparing simple meals, along with a fully accessible wet room fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Outside, a private decking area offers a relaxing space to take in the surrounding countryside and enjoy the unique farm setting. For added comfort, locally sourced breakfast hampers can be ordered in advance.

The cabin is entirely step-free and has been thoughtfully designed with wheelchair users in mind. The wet room includes grab handles and ample space for ease of movement. Parking is located directly next to the cabin, ensuring smooth access with no steps between the vehicle and the entrance. The outdoor decking area is also level throughout, allowing easy and comfortable use.

Situated on a working hill farm bordering Tebay Common, the cabin is surrounded by open countryside and offers a true escape into nature.

Visiting the Area

There are plenty of places to explore in and around Tebay near Penrith, combining natural beauty with local charm. The nearby Howgill Fells are ideal for walking, offering rolling hills and quieter trails compared to the busier Lake District routes. A short drive away, Lowther Castle provides atmospheric ruins and extensive gardens to explore, while Orton Village is known for its traditional character and popular chocolate shop. Ullswater is also within easy reach, offering lakeside walks, boat trips and breathtaking scenery.
