Carnawn and Pop’s Place (the annexe) are located in Port Gaverne, Cornwall, adjoining the unspoilt fishing village of Port Isaac, just a short walk up the hill to the harbour. Nestled within a scenic cove, both holiday homes enjoy stunning sea views and provide an ideal setting for a coastal escape. The nearby beach is perfect for families, offering opportunities for swimming, bodyboarding, kayaking, and exploring rock pools.
Carnawn
Carnawn is a cosy self-catering holiday home that accommodates up to six guests, making it ideal for family holidays or a relaxing retreat for couples. Upstairs, there are two en-suite bedrooms, while downstairs features a twin bedroom with a separate shower room and WC. Linen and towels are provided, although guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.
The property benefits from central heating and boasts a private patio where guests can enjoy beautiful countryside and sea views. The patio is furnished with garden furniture and includes a BBQ for outdoor dining.
Pop’s Place
Pop’s Place, the annexe, accommodates up to three guests. It includes one double en-suite bedroom and one single en-suite bedroom. Linen and towels are provided, excluding beach towels.
The accommodation also benefits from central heating and features its own private patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ, offering a peaceful space to relax outdoors.
Visiting the Area
These holiday homes provide an excellent base for exploring the surrounding unspoilt coastline. A wide range of activities are available nearby, including walking, surfing, golfing, fishing, and other water sports.
The nearby village of Port Isaac, famously featured in the TV series Doc Martin, offers a selection of pubs, restaurants, cafés, and local shops. The South West Coast Path runs alongside the properties, leading up to dramatic headlands and providing scenic walking routes, perfect for an evening stroll.
Guests can also walk down the hill to the Port Gaverne Hotel, which serves Cornish ales, locally sourced home-cooked food, and offers a welcoming atmosphere.
