Railway Cottage in Newtyle provides self-catering accommodation nestled on the Angus/Perthshire border. Set within the beautiful fields of the Strathmore Valley, the cottage offers a peaceful rural setting and is ideally located for exploring Blairgowrie and the surrounding area.
Accommodation
This tastefully renovated former farm worker’s cottage offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to five guests. The spacious interior features an open-plan living and kitchen area, creating a welcoming space to relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen is well equipped with a range of appliances, including a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer.
There are three bedrooms in total. The master en suite includes a super king bed that can be configured as twins if required. There is also a double room with a king-size duvet and a single room, which has the option of an additional bed to create a twin room.
Outside, guests can enjoy outdoor seating and a barbecue, ideal for al fresco dining while taking in the surrounding countryside. A spacious indoor kennel area with a covered run attached to the storage shed is also available.

Railway Cottage is well positioned for visiting the nearby city of Dundee, which offers a range of attractions including the V&A Museum, Discovery Point, excellent restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife. There are also a variety of family-friendly activities nearby, such as Wildshore water activities, Combat City laser tag, and Ryze trampoline park.
