Steeped in history as a Grade C listed building, Tigh na Boireach seamlessly blends its traditional Scottish Blackhouse style with modern amenities. The kitchen boasts luxurious oak worktops and cream painted units, while the living space exudes warmth and coziness with a comfy leather suite, realistic electric fire, foldaway dining table for two, TV with DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, Wi-Fi, and an assortment of books and DVDs for leisurely evenings.

The bedroom features an elegant four-poster double bed adorned with organza drapes, complemented by a pine wardrobe and dressing table offering ample storage. Bed linen and towels are thoughtfully provided for a comfortable stay.

The fully equipped bathroom includes modern conveniences like a luxury shower, toilet, sink, cabinet, shaver point, mirror, heated towel rail, and wall heater, ensuring a relaxing experience.

We are trying to offer sustainable eco-friendly holiday accommodation without compromising on comfort and quality. 

We have raised vegetable beds which we have planted up with potatoes which guests are welcome to help themselves to in the second half of the season when they are ready for harvesting (no guarantees though!). The cottage is historic grade C listed, yet has modern facilities.

The kitchen features a luxurious oak worktop and pale cream painted units.

The living space is the perfect place to relax. The comfy leather suite and realistic electric fire make the room feel cosy and warm.
