River View, Innerleithen, Scottish Borders (Sleeps 1-6)

River View offers charming self-catering accommodation on the edge of Innerleithen. Our lovely cottage overlooks the River Tweed and the hills of the Southern Upland Way, making us perfect for an idyllic break.

Our superb property is perfect for families or friends and sleeps up to 6 people. River View is suitable for people with disabilities. There is level access, door openings, a wheelchair accessible hallway and an accessible shower room.

Outside there is a seating area and BBQ. Perfect for a spot of al fresco dining.

The small town of Innerleithen lies between Peebles and Galashiels in the Scottish Borders. Nearby 7stanes Innerleithen is regarded as one of the best and most challenging downhill tracks in the UK. The centre offers many exciting, adrenaline-pumping routes and has been a popular downhill race venue for many years. Innerleithen has a great 9 hole golf course, set in one of the three valleys. Fishing for trout and salmon is available (depending on the season) on the River Tweed and Leithen Water.

The Old Pickle House, Kelso, Scottish Borders (Sleeps 1-8)

The Old Pickle House is a unique mews style townhouse on four levels and was originally being part of the famous (and now former) Pettigrews Pickle factory. Conveniently located right in the centre of Kelso, it's just a few steps away from all the amenities offered by this picturesque market town and casting distance from the Tweed. 

A gated entrance off Oven Wynd opens to the entrance hall which includes hanging space and rod racks that cater for rods up to 15’ in length. Off the entrance hall is a spacious storage cupboard, a utility room with a washer/dryer and a separate bathroom with a shower. Stairs lead up to the first-floor hallway, off which is the spacious dining/living room which includes a drop-down double wall bed and leads to the fully equipped modern kitchen.

A second staircase off the first-floor hallway leads to the second-floor hallway, off which are the three bedrooms; two can be made up with either twin or double beds and the third has a full-size bunk bed suitable for adults. All bedrooms are fitted with vanity units and the house bathroom includes a bath, separate shower and feature stone walls.

The decked roof terrace is accessed by a pull-down ladder and is fully secure. The terrace is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views of the Tweed and Floors Castle. Whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend, a family break or an activity-based holiday the Old Pickle House can offer you unique, high-quality accommodation bang in the centre of Kelso.

The Square in Kelso is a newly refurbished second floor flat. Situated in the centre of this pretty Borders market town the flat is the ideal base for exploring the Scottish Borders.

Large ceiling-to-floor windows make this a bright and comfortable flat with all 'mod cons' included.

The flat has three bedrooms; a kingsize, one that can be made as a double or twin, and a third with full-size bunk beds.

Kelso is a busy market town with plenty of pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Arguably one of the prettiest Border towns it sits next to the River Tweed and is popular with keen anglers fishing the Tweed for salmon. The streets of the town are cobbled and there are many interesting shops to browse in. During the summer, Floors Castle is a major tourist attraction and there are many events held at Springwood Park, home to the Border Union Show.
