Wesley House is a charming Grade II listed building situated in the heart of Shrewsbury, offering a unique and inviting retreat steeped in history. With its picturesque timber beams and a log burner in the living area, this 15th-century home provides a warm and relaxing escape. Guests can enjoy delightful views from the sitting room, overlooking a stunning 15th-century church set on a cobbled street. Adding to its historic significance, Wesley House was a preaching location for Rev. John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Church, in 1761.

The oak-panelled living area features cosy sofas, chairs, a wood-burning stove, and a smart TV, creating the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring Shrewsbury. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern conveniences, including a dishwasher, air fryer, microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, oven, kettle, and toaster. While the house is situated on the ground floor, its historic doorways may not be suitable for wheelchair access. Eggesford Barton, Eggesford, Chulmleigh, Devon (Sleeps 10-30)


Eggesford Barton is a unique, Grade 2 listed house in the heart of Devon with the North Devon beaches, Exmoor and Dartmoor only 45 minutes drive away. The house was once the main farm for the Earls of Portsmouth’s Eggesford estate and has been converted and renovated to Grade 4 standard within the constraints of a Grade 2 listing (the house is over 300 years old) and offers masses of charm and character.

Accommodation
Each room is stylishly furnished and comfortable and our guests often comment that they are very large. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside and forest and is on the Tarka Trail which runs through North Devon and is very popular with walkers.

Guests may book exclusive use of Eggesford Barton House, which accommodates up to 30 people. Many of our guests stay for a long weekend or a week with their extended families or friends to celebrate a special occasion. If you would like the help of outside caterers we can arrange this, a little notice is required to avoid disappointment.

For our guests with children, there is an enclosed outdoor play area and 30 acres to run around in. There is also an indoor games room with Nintendo Wii, table tennis and pool table.

Visiting Eggesford & Exploring Devon
We welcome dogs and the nearby walks in the surrounding area and Eggesford Forest are quite beautiful. For keen fishermen, the River Taw, renowned for its Salmon and Trout fishing is 10 minutes’ walk away and guests are welcome to try their luck free of charge'

Apple Tree Cottage, Westow, York, North Yorkshire (Sleeps 1-6)


Apple Tree Cottage is a Grade II listed barn that has been sympathetically converted and restored to a very high standard to provide extremely comfortable self-catering accommodation. Based in a rural setting, the cottage offers all the stone, bricks, roof tiles and exposed beams and trusses used came from the original building itself to preserve the character of the cottage.

Accommodation
Inside the living area is open plan to the ceiling showing the original roof trusses and beams. The kitchen is fully fitted and has all modern conveniences including dishwasher, oven with extractor fan, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine (tumble drying facilities available), and has a reclaimed quarry tiled floor.

The living/dining area is fully carpeted and centrally heated and also has a small real flame electric stove to give the appearance of a real fire. The window seat looks out over rolling farmland to the south, and has stunning views. For guests entertainment there is a widescreen digital TV, , DVD player, books and games to suit all ages.

There are 2 bedrooms, a downstairs double, and a twin room upstairs, which is galleried over the living area, both of which have radio alarms and hairdryers. The bathroom is downstairs and has both bath and shower facilities. The sofa converts into a large double bed, giving comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 6 people.

Outside there is an enclosed patio area to the rear, with outdoor furniture, barbeque and outdoor drying facilities. To the front the garden has a lawn, and both sides have wonderful views of the Yorkshire Wolds and our farm.

Visiting West Stow & Exploring North Yorkshire
Apple Tree Cottage is set in beautiful, peaceful countryside, next door to Howsham Wood, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and part of the Howardian Hills AONB. The wood is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna including bluebells and primroses in the spring, and a growing community of deer.

Located a few miles from the A64 main Leeds/York/Scarborough road, it is centrally located for many local tourist attractions, including Castle Howard, York, the East Coast, North York Moors and many others, making Apple Tree Cottage the ideal place to enjoy the delights of Yorkshire.

South Wing is a beautiful Grade II listed house in the village of Hunmanby, North Yorkshire. Nestling on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and only two miles from the sea South Wing is the perfect base for a self catering family holiday or a short break with a group of friends.

About South Wing
Our wonderful property sleeps up to 14 people and is perfect for a memorable break in a stunning setting. The house is well-equipped and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.

There is a Baby Grand piano at the eastern end of this beautiful room enabling you to enjoy the wonderful views across the village to the sea as you rattle off your favourite tunes!

The TV lounge provides the opportunity for some extended family viewing with a 65’’ TV, comfortable sofas and chairs. The main lounge has a toasty wood burner for the winter months. There is a small but distinguished library of DVD's and you can even record your own programmes on the DVD recorder. There are also plenty of games for children young and old.

The oak panelled dining room is the perfect setting for a grand meal with family and friends. The dining table is actually made from benches recovered from the science laboratory when the house was converted back from a school. South Wing is fully loaded with all the crockery and glassware that you need to make the most of this wonderful room.

Rustle up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of excellent appliances: twin Neff ovens, induction hob, two dishwashers, two large fridge/freezers plus drinks fridge.

Upstairs are 5 huge bedrooms all with comfortable beds dressed in high quality Egyptian cotton linen and topped off with luxuriously warm duvets. The views from the bedrooms are truly glorious. To the south you look across the gardens to the adjacent tree lined golf course and tennis courts. To the east is the village taking in the church spire and beyond to the sea at Hunmanby Gap.

The master bedroom suite offers a real sense of grandeur with chandeliers, a dressing room, en-suite bathroom and a south facing snug with private balcony overlooking the grounds. There are 3 bathrooms and an additional toilet upstairs and each guest is provided with thick absorbent cotton towels.

Outside are the wonderful gardens with 1.6 acres of lawn, woodlands and shrub covered terraces. Garden furniture and a BBQ ensure you can make the most of good weather. There are four tennis courts and a 9-hole golf course (available on a pay-and-play basis) within 100 yards of the back door. Hot tubs are also available to hire.

Visiting Hunmanby & Exploring North Yorkshire
Hunmanby is a large well serviced village 2 miles from the sea and perched on the Yorkshire Wolds. South Wing is a short walk from several pubs, an excellent fish & chip shop and a small range of shops. The area also has an abundance of glorious walking and cycling routes to enjoy. Superb attractions to visit include:

RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

Porch Cottage, High Hill, Keswick, Cumbria (Sleeps 1-4)


Porch Cottage is set at High Hill near Keswick and is a Grade II cottage that can sleep up to 4 people. It is a great base from which to explore Cumbria and the Lake District National Park.

About Porch Cottage:
Our cosy holiday home is full of character and includes the original oak-beamed ceiling and an open fire in the sitting room/dining area. The modern world has landed here though and you can access Wi-Fi, enjoy television and watch a range of DVDs. A collection of books and jigsaws are also available for you to enjoy during your stay.

There are 2 bedrooms at the holiday home, both are luxurious and have stunning views of the river and the mountains beyond. The master bedroom has a super king bed and the second can be made up as a twin or super king bed depending on your requirements, so whether you are a couple, friends or family we can accommodate you. Both bedrooms have a television and all our beds are fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets and individually styled bedding. All guests are provided with soft and fluffy bath towels for use during their stay.

The bathroom features a double Jacuzzi so you can bathe with a friend in a bath with two ends, overhead shower, sink, loo, and bathrobes for you to use during your stay. A combi boiler with instant hot water ensures guests can always have a long soak after a day out.

The kitchen has underfloor heating which always warms the heart as well as the feet on those early winter mornings. It is compact but has everything you would need to self-cater, including a fridge/freezer, a Neff double oven with halogen hob, a washer/dryer. Attention to detail and quality equipment is on offer including a blue pearl granite worktop which is beautiful in itself.

Outside there is an enclosed courtyard with seating for four.

Visiting High Hill & Exploring Cumbria:
Our holiday home is just a few minutes’ walk to the centre of town. It is the perfect base for exploring Keswick and the Lake District.

Situated on the outskirts of Cirencester, capital of the Cotswolds, The Old Stables holiday cottage offers superb self catering accommodation. Located in the rural village of Poole Keynes, the Old Stables is an ideal retreat for anyone that enjoys the peace and atmosphere of the countryside, or offers a comfortable base to explore the Cotswolds and beyond!

Accommodation
The Old Stables is a tasteful barn conversion, built in Cotswold stone. The cottage is Grade II Listed, with ornamental tallet steps, exposed beams and pine wood doors, situated in the shadow of a grade II listed manor house. The charming two-storey building has a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and a spacious sitting room.

On the first floor are two bright and comfortable double bedrooms and a modern bathroom. Patio doors from the sitting room open on to a large private garden with views over the open countryside. The Old Stables is tastefully furnished to a high standard with a great deal of thought and attention making sure your stay is a comfortable and relaxing one, ideal for holidaying couples that enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

The Dog House:
These former estate kennels now offer cosy accommodation for 2. The living space is open-plan and features a wood burner. Outside is an enclosed area.

Arden Villa offers outstanding self-catering accommodation just a 5-minute stroll from Ryde’s Golden sandy beach. Our magnificent Grade II Listed Georgian holiday home on the Isle of Wight is ideal for a magical coastal holiday

Accommodation:
Our glorious property sleeps up to 8 people and is perfect for a family or group looking for somewhere special to stay. The house has been finished to the highest standards and offers stylish interiors.

On the lower ground floor, there is a gorgeous open kitchen/dining area, including a small sitting area with patio doors that open onto a small walled terrace. The kitchen is great for home cooking and includes a Range oven with dual fuel, gas hob and electric oven, built-in microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and an additional small fridge. Additionally, there is a WC and utility room.

On the upper ground floor are two elegant sitting rooms, including one with a fabulous picture window that offers lovely garden views. The second sitting room comes with comfy seating and a smart TV, great for a relaxed movie night with your loved ones. A Bluetooth speaker with Alexa is also provided and a second cloakroom is also on this floor.

The second floor has 2 bedrooms: 1 king and 1 twin room, plus a family bathroom. On the first floor, there are 2 more bedrooms: 1 double room and 1 bunk room, as well as a family shower room.

Outside there is a small walled patio area with a table for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. The wonderful summerhouse also houses an outside dining area.
