Grooms Cottage

Pool & Grounds

A spacious lakeside home ideal for larger groups or families, Sir Stuart’s House features an open-plan ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen (including electric Aga-style cooker, American fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, and microwave), and a lounge-diner with open fire, TV/DVD, estate logs, and rural-speed Wi-Fi. The ground floor also includes a double bedroom with en-suite shower.

Upstairs are three en-suite twin rooms, an additional twin bedroom adjacent to a full bathroom, and a flexible room with a daybed next to another bathroom. An optional Bothy (twin with en-suite) in the private garden increases capacity to 14 guests. The house is encircled by gardens and a lake (unfenced), with a patio, brick BBQ, and outdoor seating. Parking is located 100 metres away, with a hand cart provided for transporting luggage.

We are in a glorious position, nestled between the shoreline of Loch Carron, with direct access to the beach and the renowned Kyle to Inverness Railway. Our charming old croft house is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty & is brimming with character.
