Mill Laine Barns are a collection of award-winning holiday homes in East Sussex. The barns are on a 500-acre working South Down farm, producing arable crops, prize-winning Southdown sheep and Sussex cattle. Positioned in an accessible, yet secluded, valley in the village of Offham, which is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and the historical site of the battle of Lewes.
The beautiful eighteenth-century farmstead has been tastefully and sympathetically converted into luxurious holiday accommodation, comprising four quality cottages. T
The two largest cottages, The Barn and The Granary, nare luxuriously spacious cottages with every modern convenience, each sleeping six people.
The Stable Cottages can accommodate four people and The Dairy can sleep two people. These two quality cottages can be combined into one - which is very popular with visitors from more than one family or generation, allowing accessibility with privacy. Extra Z-beds and cots are available for young children in all holiday accommodation.
Each cottage is equipped to a very high standard, including:

Our farm cottages are located one mile from the historic county town of Lewes, eight miles from cosmopolitan Brighton and London-Victoria is one hour by train. We are within reach of many popular amenities such as The Royal Pavilion and Palace Pier, Anne of Cleeves House and the castle at Lewes, The Lavender Line and Bluebell Steam Railways, Drusilla's Zoo at Alfriston, The South Down Way and Ouse Valley Way, and many more.

Duirinish is a very pretty crofting village, unusual for having a river running through its centre. Just 3 miles away is one of the prettiest villages in Scotland – Plockton. It has a little arc of houses, 2 good pubs and an excellent restaurant, all serving the high quality local produce and seafood. Both pubs offer live music on some nights. Furthermore, the situation of the cottage makes it a great jumping off point to visit the Isle of Skye. The Cuillins of Skye and the village of Elgol are about half an hour away.
