Dairy Cottage is a traditional holiday cottage that lies on the edge of East Challoch Farm. This refurbished holiday home is situated just outside of Dunragit near the bustling town of Stranraer in Dumfries & Galloway.

For keen golfers, there is a superb 18 hole links course situated on the shores of Luce Bay just a mile from East Challoch. Because of the mild climate brought about by the Gulf Stream, golf is possible here all year round. There are also excellent courses at Stranraer and Portpatrick.

Our accommodation briefly consists of a kitchen diner with limestone and oak flooring, a utility room and with all laundry requirements, a lounge featuring oak furniture and leather suites and 3 bedrooms.

The double bedroom is furnished with rustic pine furniture and has oak flooring. The twin bedroom is furnished in cream, with rustic furniture and oak flooring. The third bedroom has a futon that can be used for simply sitting and relaxing, or for sleeping comfortably.

There are plenty of exciting activities to enjoy during your stay. Guests can even bring their own horse as all facilities are provided.

We are ideally situated just 7 miles from Wrexham town centre and 2 miles from the A483, Oswestry to Wrexham road. We are about 5 miles from the beautiful Welsh town of Llangollen.

Llandudno and Rhyl are just 40 miles away, allowing you to visit the beach within 1 hour.

The holiday cottage is a recently converted old stone dairy, well placed for exploring the beautiful Isle of Wight. It nearby Niton you will find an excellent grocery store, butcher, chemist, hardware store, pubs and a hairdresser.

It is comprised of a spacious living room with underfloor heating, a dining area and garden doors leading out to an enclosed patio and garden. The kitchen has a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs is a large bedroom with three beds. Downstairs is a double bedroom with underfloor heating.

There is off-road parking by the property and you can use the table tennis room and play area nearby. Dairy Cottage is dog friendly - no need to leave your best friend behind!
