Rockview Cottage is in a stunning part of Scotland, on the spectacular Isle of Arran. Our detached island property can be found in the quiet, conservation village of Corrie on the east coast. It is a lovely place for couples, families and friends.

The house is set in an elevated position, allowing you to enjoy the most tremendous views over the Clyde. It can sleep up to four people in two double bedrooms.

Outside is a lovely hillside garden with two loungers and a bench with views across the Clyde. There is a sun terrace off the kitchen plus a rear deck with stunning views across the Isle of Bute, a sloping lawn and a secluded upper garden with a firepit.

The cottage is pet friendly and can welcome one or two dogs. Please do let us know that a dog will be accompanying you when you book.

Mountain View and Cliff Cottage, Corrie, Isle of Arran (Sleeps 1-11)

Mountain View and Cliff Cottage are self-catering cottages in Corrie on the Isle of Arran. Both date back to the mid-19th century - Cliff Cottage is on the seafront and Mountain View has an elevated position above the village. Both cottages have magnificent views across the Firth of Clyde and towards the Ayrshire coast. The cottages can be rented separately or together as they are just a very short walk from each other.

Mountain View sleeps up to 5 people in two upstairs bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a living/dining room with a wood-burning stove. One bedroom comes with a double and single bed and a second room with twin beds. The lounge and bedrooms all have uninterrupted sea views. Outside there is a terraced garden with a drying area to the side of the house and a deck at the front facing the sea - an ideal place for al fresco dining.

Cliff Cottage sleeps up to 6 people. Downstairs there are two public rooms, both with wood-burning stoves, modern TVs and sea views. The dining room/kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom comes with a heated towel rail. There is also a boot room/utility room. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. One room comes with a super king bed which can be reconfigured into two twins. There is a family room with a double bed and single. A single room is also available. There is a walled garden on the shore side and an enclosed paved area at the front of the cottage.

Corrie is just six miles north of Brodick is and is one of the island’s most attractive villages with its mixture of white, traditional cottages and houses built of locally quarried stone. There are two harbours and is ideal for boating.

The cottages are roughly 100 metres from the harbours and within easy walking distance of the Corrie Hotel and beer garden and ‘Mara’ Fish Bar and Deli. We are only a short walk to the Goatfell path and close to Sannox Beach and Corrie Golf Course.

We are in the heart of this historic village, once described by the late Harold McMillan as "the most beautiful village in Europe." The village has the Mara Fish Bar and Deli, a hotel with a public bar, golf course and pony trekking. Corrie is only 5 miles from Brodick, one of the larger villages which has lots of facilities. We are also close to some of Aran’s most amazing mountains and walks, perfect for keen ramblers.
