Portknockie, with its convenient location within 60 miles of Aberdeen and Inverness Airports, is an ideal starting point for your Scottish adventure. While a car is recommended for getting around, you'll find the town of Buckie just 5 miles to the west, offering larger supermarkets and amenities. Elgin, a larger town, is 33 miles to the west.

The Moray Firth, known for its moderate climate, offers splendid coastal paths where you might spot seals on the rocks at Buckie and, with a bit of luck, even catch a school of dolphins passing by. Don't miss the long sandy beach at Cullen, which is within walking distance.

For those interested in local attractions, visit Duff House in Banff, Dufftown Distillery (home of Glenfiddich and part of the famous Malt Whisky Trail), and Baxters Visitor Centre in Fochabers, famous for warm freshly made pancakes. The 18-hole golf course in Cullen welcomes visitors.

Our fabulous pods have featured in The Guardian, Sunday Times and The i Paper, offering an amazing experience in a glorious setting. We have 3 gorgeous pods to choose from, Beatles (60’s LodgePod), Queen (70’s LodgePod) and Madonna (80’s LodgePod). Madonna and Queen sleep 6 (no more than 4 adults), whilst Beatles sleep 4. Scattered around the pods you’ll find retro artefacts, retro books and mags, LP records, record players or cassette or CD players and a retro lava lamp in Beatles and Queen.

Our family and dog-friendly pods offer everything you need for a tranquil and relaxing getaway in the country, including central heating, a shower, a toilet and a fully equipped kitchen for rustling up some delicious dishes. The Aquaforno 2 Pop Up Pizza Oven & BBQ Grill are ideal for al fresco dining whilst the sun is shining.

You can unwind in the cosy living area in front of the 32" Smart TV after a busy day exploring. The comfortable bedrooms even come with a 24’’ smart TV with Amazon to catch your favourite show own.

Outside there are deck chairs and an 8-seat picnic table, offering great places for a coffee whilst savouring the views.

We also have a fantastic BBQ hut, great for a special home-cooked BBQ on a rainy day. Use of the hut is for an additional fee. Onsite we have a range of wonderful pampering sessions, perfect for rejuvenating your mind and body.

We are in the ideal location for discovering all that the area has to offer. You can watch the dolphins in New Quay or catch a glimpse of the seals in Cwmtydu. Lots of scenic coastal paths are nearby, whilst the Welsh Wildlife Centre is great for the whole family.

Les Fries Barn & Les Petits Fries offer fantastic self-catering accommodation in Castel, just a short walk from the gorgeous sandy beach at Cobo Bay. Our two properties are perfect for an idyllic getaway in Guernsey.

Each property sleeps 4 adults in 2 bedrooms and comes with an array of facilities to suit all your needs. There is shared access to a lawn at the front, great for a slightly uneven croquet lawn or simply relaxing on. Both properties also have the use of a luxurious hot tub to soak your troubles away.

Les Fries Barn is an award-winning 15th Century barn that is perfect for a magical break in a scenic setting. The charming open plan sitting room/dining area comes with a delightful balcony that overlooks it. A large master mezzanine bedroom comes with a king-size bed, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. A second bedroom off the main level has a double and a single. Extra children under 12 can be put up in a z-bed in the downstairs bedroom, plus a futon bed upstairs on the mezzanine floor. The fabulous bathroom has a magnificent cast iron bath and a modern shower.

Les Petits Fries is a stunning cottage that offers the ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Downstairs there is a cloakroom and a WC. A relaxing open plan living area comes with comfy seating with a smart TV and a wood-burning stove for the winter months. French doors open onto a south-facing patio, a great spot for al fresco dining. A second small patio area is nestled in a wild area.  Upstairs there are two bedrooms: a king room and a room with a double and a single bed. Additionally, a Z-bed can be used. A bathroom comes with a bath and a separate shower, as well as underfloor heating.

The island is a haven for walkers, with the south coast offering miles of picturesque coastal paths. You can also enjoy walking inland in the beautiful countryside or ride along one of the many cycle routes.

Set just outside of Llanelli this is a cosy cottage in rural Carmarthenshire. Trepartridge can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people in a tranquil Welsh location. 

This property welcomes your pets to stay too (with prior approval) and during summer horses are able to stay too! Cyclists and walkers are more than welcome. There are plenty of trails, the nearby Millennium Coastal Path offers great views along the Gower peninsula.

Whatever you want for a holiday, it's nearby; you're sure to find what you're looking for at Trepartridge Cottage. In the immediate vicinty to the cottage is Ffos Las Racecourse - less than 5 miles away. There is also Pembrey Country Park including Cefn Sidan beach, within a 10 minute drive.
