Bleng Barn Cottage offers charming self-catering accommodation near Gosforth, set on a working livestock farm. We are only 1.5 miles from Wasdale and perfect for a relaxing break in Cumbria.

Accommodation:

This beautifully furnished cottage is ideal for a tranquil break in a scenic location. The cottage sleeps up to 8 people and is great for a family or group holiday.

Inside this cosy cottage is an open-plan living area with comfy seating and a smart TV with FreeSat. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. You can savour some delicious meals around the dining table.

Three lovely bedrooms are available. All the rooms can be made as a super king double or twin. All the rooms come with the quality bed linen. A ground-floor shower room comes with a shower over the bath.

Outside there is a patio area with a hot tub to soak yourself in whilst savouring the setting. A table and chairs are provided for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

The charming village of Gosforth is nestled in the gorgeous Lakeland countryside. Nearby are the peaks of Scafell - England's highest peak, plus Hard Knott, Great Gable, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell. The small village of Gosforth offers a scattering of traditional cottages, farm dwellings, a post office, pubs serving good food, a church and the oldest Viking cross in England. Close by are the towering peaks of Scafell - England's highest peak, as well as Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell, whilst the nearby valleys of Eskdale, Wasdale and Dunnerdale provide breathtaking scenery and there are many local attractions in the area including Muncaster Castle, the World Owl Centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway.
