Spacious and clean, it is quietly situated one mile outside the busy seaside town of Barmouth. Talarfor is approached via a steep, narrow, access only lane and has the true benefit of private parking outside your door. It has a delightful patio from where you can watch the sun set into the sea.

The large bedroom has a double bed, a single bed with feather duvets and a variety of pillows. The second room is only small and has a single bed.

All beds are made ready for you and towels are supplied. The modern bathroom has a large shower.

The living room is spacious with wonderful garden and beach views. Relax and enjoy meals on the patio and the sound of the sea greeting you as you open the doors. Alternately stroll for just two minutes down the lane and drink your coffee on the beach. Bring binoculars to watch sail boats and paddle boarders or dolphin and porpoises if you are lucky.

Barmouth, home to the famous 150 year old Barmouth Bridge is a bustling seaside town with plenty of outdoor activities and a working harbour. It has a range of amenities including shops, cafés and pubs most of which are dog friendly. The centre of Barmouth is a 1 mile walk from the property along the promenade or beach (tide permitting).

The newly converted semi-detached holiday cottages are stone built 16th century listed buildings situated within a conservation area which includes the 15th century Vanner Farm House and Cymer Abbey, the ruins of a 12th century Cistercian monastery under the jurisdiction of Cadw Welsh Heritage.

The panoramic view from this location includes the magnificent Cader Idris range and the beautiful Mawddach Estuary winding its way to Cardigan Bay and the seaside town of Barmouth, where you can relax on its beautiful beaches.

The Welsh Cycle Route runs through the farm and leads directly to the internationally renowned mountain bike centre at Coed y Brenin, a distance of five miles. The north end of the Mawddach trail which runs from Dolgellau to Barmouth is only a mile away. This makes the Vanner Holiday Cottages the perfect location for a walking or cycling holiday.
