On the ground floor of each apartment is a cosy living room which comes with a 55’’ smart TV with Blu-Ray and recliner seats. A great place to relax whilst savouring views over the beach. A twin room is also available.

On the lower ground floor is a lovely open plan kitchen/dining area which enjoys spectacular views over the beach and has access to the patio area. A second sitting area with a sofa, armchair, 48 smart TV and Blu-Ray player is also available. The well-equipped kitchen comes with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster and kettle. A master bedroom with sea views and a twin room are on the first floor. Both rooms share a bathroom.

All the properties come with bed linen, towels, travel cot and highchairs. Please bring you own cot bedding.

All the apartments are just a few steps down to Dyffryn Beach. At low tide a spot of rock pooling/crabbing is a must for all the family. Penwern Fach has 6 luxury country cottages with glorious views extending across the Teifi Valley to the Preseli Hills beyond. Varying in size, all provide well-proportioned, easy holiday living at any time of year. The farm extends to 10 acres and is only 1.5 miles away from the quaint little village of Cenarth, famous for its waterfalls and salmon fishing.

Communal gardens, lawns, golf practice field and play area add to the pleasure and the enclosed wildlife pond which attracts a wide variety of insects and birdlife is fascinating for young and old.

About the Cottages:

Our 6 cottages sleep from 2-6 in comfort with beds made up for your arrival. There is central heating & log burners to make for a cosy break whatever the time of year. There are also cots, high chairs and baby gates available if requested. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Use of the Leisure Facilities at our nearby Coracles Health & Country Club can be enjoyed at a discounted rate for all Cottage guests. Here you will find:

Just 10 yards from the beach, Golwg-y-Mor is perfectly situated for a quiet relaxing holiday or an active break. The safe, sandy beach stretches for miles along Cardigan Bay. 

You can watch spectacular sunsets over the sea, the dolphins tumbling past or at night the moon lighting up the sky and seas. You can climb up Cadair Idris (a few miles distant) or stroll along the seafront. You can fish, windsurf or just relax.

Golwg-y-Mor means ‘sea view’ and, this is exactly what you get. There cannot be many houses in the UK where you are more aware of the sea’s presence.

Tywyn is an old fashioned seaside town. As well as the miles of sandy beach there is a leisure centre with a swimming pool in the town, along with crazy golf.

Sea fishing is very popular, with bass, monkfish, and rays all being caught locally. A well-stocked tackle shop, just yards from the property, hires out any equipment you may need.

No trip to the seaside is complete without ice cream. Just one minute’s drive out of Tywyn is the famous Halo Ice Cream factory. Their delicious honey flavoured ice cream is only available at the factory.
