The accommodation comprises an entrance hall, an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, a utility room, and three bedrooms. These include one king-size bedroom, one single bedroom, and one twin bedroom that can also be arranged as a super-king. Bedding and towels are included in the weekly charge. Family-friendly facilities are available, including a cot (excluding cot linen), highchair and bed guard.
The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, American-style fridge/freezer and microwave. Additional amenities include a TV, DVD player and lockable cycle storage. Off-road parking is provided, with the cottage benefiting from its own private driveway. Outside, guests can enjoy a Weber gas BBQ, and a ramp provides easy access to the front entrance.

Located 7.5 miles west of Banchory, Drumhead Cottage is ideally positioned for exploring Royal Deeside, an area famed for its Highland Games during the summer months. A wide range of sporting and outdoor activities is available nearby, including hill walking, mountain biking, skiing, horse riding, climbing and fishing. There are nine golf courses and a driving range within a 10 to 30-minute drive, as well as an outdoor activity centre within 10 miles offering go-karting, quad biking and 4x4 driving.
The towns of Banchory, Aboyne, Ballater, Braemar and Aberdeen are all easily accessible by car and provide an excellent selection of shops and restaurants. The area is also rich in historic attractions, with numerous gardens and castles to explore, including Balmoral Castle, Crathes Castle, Drum Castle, Dunnottar Castle and many more, making it an ideal base for varied and memorable days out.
