Marram Cottage is located in the coastal village of Beadnell, Northumberland, and provides a welcoming base for a relaxing break by the sea. A gate from the garden opens directly onto the dunes, with a short sandy path leading straight to the beach.
Accommodation
The bright sunroom offers a peaceful space for morning coffee or meals while overlooking the patio and dunes. Two comfortable chairs make it ideal for reading or unwinding, and a door leads directly into the rear garden. The living room is cosy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Guests can light the wood-burning stove, settle into one of the large sofas or the armchair, and enjoy a book, a film or a favourite series on the Smart TV and DVD player.
The spacious kitchen and dining area is designed for easy, home-from-home living and is well equipped for cooking and dining together. All accommodation is arranged on one level and includes three tastefully furnished bedrooms with new beds and quality mattresses. Blackout blinds in each room ensure restful lie-ins. The double bedroom is snug yet comfortable, featuring a pocket-sprung mattress and built-in storage. The twin bedroom has two stylish single beds, a chest of drawers and additional built-in storage. The bunk room includes modern bunk beds with deep pocket-sprung mattresses suitable for both adults and children. A small bathroom features a toilet, a corner bath with integrated shower and underfloor heating, while a separate cloakroom provides an additional toilet and basin.
Outside, a sheltered south-facing patio at the rear of the cottage catches the sun for most of the day and is ideal for outdoor dining or relaxing. A wooden table and chairs seat six comfortably, making it perfect for meals or barbecues. A garden gate opens directly onto the dunes, where a short sandy path leads straight to the beach. From the top of the dunes, guests can enjoy wide, uninterrupted views across Beadnell Bay, the harbour, the historic Lime Kilns and, further along the coast, the distinctive silhouette of Dunstanburgh Castle.
