Farm View

Farm View is a bright and spacious holiday property finished to a high standard with comfortable beds, fitted carpets, a modern bathroom and attractive country pine furnishings. Central heating throughout ensures a warm and welcoming stay at any time of year.

The accommodation includes a spacious double bedroom with ample room for a cot, which can be provided on request, and a second bedroom with 3-foot-wide bunk beds. Both bedrooms are furnished with wardrobes, bedside tables and chests of drawers.

The large lounge offers comfortable seating, including a sofa and matching sofa bed which can accommodate two additional guests. There is also a dining table, coffee table, wall-mounted satellite TV, DVD player and Freeview box. The adjoining L-shaped kitchen area is fully equipped with a cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and all the essentials needed for a self-catering stay.

The modern bathroom includes a bath with shower, wash basin, toilet, shelving and a heated towel rail.

Please note that access is via an external flight of eight steps and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The Elms

The Elms, graded 4 Star by Visit England, offers bright and spacious accommodation furnished to a high standard. The property benefits from central heating throughout and is designed to provide a comfortable stay all year round.

There are two double bedrooms, both equipped with wardrobes, bedside tables and chests of drawers. The spacious lounge includes comfortable seating, a dining table, coffee table and a wall-mounted 32-inch flatscreen satellite TV with DVD player and Freeview box. Internet access is available for a nominal charge.

The adjoining L-shaped kitchen area is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and other kitchen essentials. The modern bathroom features a bath with shower, toilet, wash basin, shelving and a heated towel rail.

As with Farm View, access is via an external flight of eight steps and may not be suitable for guests who find stairs difficult.

The Stables

The Stables offers spacious self-catering accommodation finished to a high standard. The property includes a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both sharing a modern bathroom.

The bright lounge features comfortable seating, a wall-mounted Smart Satellite TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. A well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster.

The Stables also benefits from disabled access and may be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Facilities & Local Area

A children's play area and trampoline are available onsite, helping to keep younger guests entertained throughout their stay.

The accommodation is ideal for families, walkers and cyclists, with easy access to an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways. Doniford Meadow Holiday Bungalows offer a peaceful retreat in the heart of Somerset, providing the perfect base for exploring the region’s stunning landscapes, charming villages, and historic landmarks. The semi-detached bungalows are thoughtfully designed for comfort and practicality. Each has its own adjacent parking space, ensuring easy access for guests. All bungalows are non-smoking and come fully carpeted, except for the kitchen and bathroom areas, which are vinyl-covered. Heating is provided by electric storage heaters, with electricity included at no extra charge.

Each bungalow has two bedrooms: one double and one twin room. Fresh bed linen is supplied, though guests are asked to bring their own towels. **Farm View**  
Farm View is a bright and spacious property, meticulously fitted to a high standard. It features comfortable beds, fitted carpets, a modern bathroom, and rustic country pine furniture throughout. Central heating ensures warmth even during the coldest winter months. The property includes a generous double bedroom with space for a cot upon request, and a smaller second bedroom with sturdy 3-foot-wide bunk beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with wardrobes, chest of drawers, and bedside tables.  

The large, luminous lounge area is furnished with a comfy settee, a matching bed-settee that can accommodate two additional guests, a dining table, and a coffee table. Entertainment options include a wall-mounted Satellite TV with a DVD player and Freeview box. Internet access is available for a nominal fee. Adjacent to the lounge is an L-shaped kitchen area fully equipped with essential appliances like a cooker, fridge, microwave oven, and toaster.

**The Elms**  
Graded 4* by Visit England, The Elms offers spacious and bright accommodation also fitted to a high standard. Similar to Farm View, it includes comfortable beds, fitted carpets, a modern bathroom, and charming country pine furniture. Central heating ensures year-round comfort.  

The Elms features two double bedrooms, each with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside tables. The large lounge area boasts a cosy settee, sprung beechwood chairs, a dining table, and a coffee table. Entertainment amenities include a wall-mounted 32" flatscreen Satellite TV with DVD player and Freeview box, with internet access available for a nominal charge. The L-shaped kitchen area is fully equipped with ceramic hob, oven, fridge, microwave oven, and toaster.  

The modern bathroom is equipped with a bath/shower, toilet, washbasin, shelving, and a heated towel rail. Access to The Elms also requires navigating an external flight of 8 steps.

**The Stables**  
Offering spacious and well-finished accommodation, The Stables includes a large double room and a twin room, both sharing a modern bathroom. The bright lounge area features comfortable seating and a wall-mounted Smart Satellite TV, complemented by free Wi-Fi access. The well-equipped kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, and toaster.

Doniford Meadow Bungalows, Doniford, Watchet, Somerset (Sleeps 1-4)


Doniford Meadow Holiday Bungalows are an excellent base for those wishing to explore everything Somerset has to offer. They are close to Doniford Halt and just a short drive from Watchet. The holiday bungalows are within easy walking distance of the Bristol Channel with enchanting rock pools and Jurassic fossils, as well as pretty meadows with rare orchids.

The semi-detached bungalows are set in spacious grounds bounded to the west by the Doniford stream and sheltered to the east by the Quantock Hills. Each bungalow has an adjacent parking space. All the bungalows are non smoking. All rooms are carpeted except the kitchen and bathroom which are vinyl covered. Heating is by electric storage heaters, electricity is included at no extra charge. Bungalows have 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin room. All linen is supplied, except for towels.

Lounge/Diner: With three piece suite, dining table and 4 chairs, colour TV and other small items of furniture.

Kitchen: Fitted kitchen units with full size electric cooker, full size fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster etc.

Bathroom: Walk in shower or bath, wash basin and W.C.

Outside: A garden table and chairs are provided for each bungalow, as well as bench seats in the grounds. Two of our bungalows have fenced gardens giving extra safety for children and dogs. You can leave your car beside the bungalow and escape by bus, train, on horseback or by foot. If you wish to go for a drink, there are a number of friendly taxi firms nearby to drive you home.

The West Somerset Steam Railway runs a regular 22 mile service from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard, stopping at Doniford Halt, 400 metres from Doniford Meadow Bungalows. The countryside around Doniford is officially an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering superb opportunities for families, walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, artists and photographers. In the winter it is an ideal base for Bridgwater Carnival. Nearby are many unspoilt villages to be explored, as well as the well known names of Watchet, Minehead, Dunster, Porlock, etc; Cheddar Caves, Wookey Hole, Bath, Glastonbury and Wells are within easy reach. Doniford is an ideal base for exploring the South West of England and even parts of Wales.

Farm View has a spacious double bedroom with plenty of room for a cot which we can provide on request. The second bedroom is smaller and has bunk beds which are 3 foot wide. Please note that access is up an external flight of 8 steps so the accommodation is not suitable for people who find steps difficult.

The Stables offers spacious accommodation with a large double room and a twin room. 

Our accommodation is ideal for families, walkers and cyclists and provides very easy access to an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways.
