The semi-detached bungalows are thoughtfully designed for comfort and practicality. Each has its own adjacent parking space, ensuring easy access for guests. Each bungalow has two bedrooms: one double and one twin room. Fresh bed linen is supplied, though guests are asked to bring their own towels. Bench seats are also scattered throughout the grounds for additional seating. Two of the bungalows have fenced gardens, providing extra safety for children and pets. Guests can leave their car beside the bungalow and explore the area by bus, train, horseback, or on foot. For evenings out, friendly local taxi services are available.

The nearby West Somerset Steam Railway offers a nostalgic 22-mile journey from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard, with Doniford Halt just 400 metres from the bungalows. This heritage railway is a popular attraction, offering a unique way to explore the surrounding countryside.

Doniford’s countryside is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering endless opportunities for families, walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, artists, and photographers. Its picturesque landscapes, meadows filled with rare orchids, and coastal paths with enchanting rock pools and Jurassic fossils make it a haven for nature enthusiasts.

In the winter, Doniford is an ideal base for visiting the Bridgwater Carnival, one of the UK’s largest illuminated parades. The area is also surrounded by unspoilt villages and well-known destinations such as Watchet, Minehead, Dunster, and Porlock. Further afield, iconic landmarks like Cheddar Caves, Wookey Hole, Bath, Glastonbury, and Wells are within easy reach, offering a mix of historical, cultural, and natural attractions.
