Our cottages offer comfortable, well equipped accommodation, with splendid views, farm animals, wildlife, walks, fishing all on hand and many other activities in the locality. There is no better place to stay when exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are also perfect for star gazing, nestled in a dark skies national park.

About Aberhyddnant Farm Cottages
Both of the holiday homes have been converted from traditional stone barns and now offer well equipped and family for up to 10 people (when let together). They each include well equipped kitchens with a full sized electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker. The living rooms have TV with Sky, a DVD player and a CD / radio. Each holiday cottage has a collection of books, DVDs, CDs and board games and there is a shared playroom with table football together with a variety of other toys. Onsite we also have a small farm shop with an honesty box.
Hill Cottage
Our wonderful property is full of character and dates from the 17th Century, whilst offering high quality accommodation. A spacious lounge comes with comfy sofas, chairs, oak floor, wood burner and with a mix of traditional furniture. Double doors open onto a lovely garden surrounded by fields. The flagstone kitchen comes with a range of appliances, including a full-sized electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a small twin, twin and double.
Bryniau Pell
Nowadays this is a cosy holiday home that can sleep up to 4 guests and 2 infants. It was converted from a cart shed and a hay loft (traditionally an ideal place for farm lads to court their true loves). An ideal place for families as it has a beautiful nursery which furnished with a pine cot and cot bed with attractive bedding and has a starry blackout blind and double lined curtains for those long summer days. Bedrooms consist of a double and twin and the bathroom has a shower over the bath. A further cloakroom is downstairs. The property also has access to campfire, den building area and play area.
Visiting Crai & Exploring Powys
We are a wonderful holiday destination for families as there is plenty to see and do both on and off the farm. Throughout the year there are farming activities that take place which you are welcome to watch and maybe help. There are eggs to collect, in spring lambs to feed and of course there are the 220 acres of land with fields, streams and small wooded areas to explore and fire the imagination. The area is fantastic for walking and there are trails and routes to suit all ages and fitness levels. Whether you are looking for outdoor pursuits, open gardens, indoor activities or just relaxing - there is something for you not far away!
