Balure Cottage is a cosy one-bedroom Highland Bothy-style retreat, surrounded by stunning scenery, ideal for a Highland getaway. This charming south-facing cottage offers breathtaking sunsets. Stepping out the front door, you can walk down to the mouth of the River Awe and Loch Etive, experiencing a wonderful sense of space and freedom. Nature lovers will be delighted by the abundance of wildlife and birds, making Balure a truly special hidden gem.

The entrance to Balure Cottage is from a storm porch into the main hallway, leading to the spacious, open-plan sitting room with a dining table, and through to the kitchen area. The kitchen is kept cosy and warm by a traditional log-burning stove, with an initial basket of chopped wood provided. It is well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses, and cooking equipment, including an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, and blender. An adjoining outhouse provides additional amenities such as a washing machine, dryer, and freezer.

The bright and airy twin-bedded room has two windows providing stunning views across the open countryside. The room includes two single beds, duvets, and extra blankets. Please note that bed linen, towels, and tea towels are not provided, but bed linen can be supplied for £6.50 per bed. The well-appointed shower room features a shower, toilet, wash hand basin, and electric towel rail. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a picnic bench, perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

Inverawe offers a delightful place to get away from it all. Completely unspoilt, with an abundance of both flora and birds, you can walk through woodlands and parkland, enjoying the serene environment. Walking along the edge of the river or down to Loch Etive, you can observe all the seabirds. With Inverawe Fisheries right on the doorstep, you have access to an excellent fly-fishing centre where you can fish at your convenience, enjoying special 'cottage fishing' discount rates. For those who prefer to savour Inverawe's smoked products, a great selection of smoked fish is available in the shop.

Airdeny Chalets offers charming self-catering accommodation in Taynuilt. Located on picturesque Argyll, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our comfy chalets offer the perfect hideaway in beautiful Western Scotland. The 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom cottages are lovingly constructed from timber and decorated to provide you with the comforts of home.

In each chalet, the living area is open plan. There are armchairs, a sofa, a dining table and chairs, a TV, plus a DVD player. The kitchen is fully kitted out - so no need to pack the sink! Each chalet also has a terrace seating area, great for a coffee in the morning sun. Wheelchair and dog-friendly chalets are also available.

You can borrow books, games and DVDs at the reception. Please keep in mind that smoking is not permitted inside the chalets.

In the garden, there are several BBQ areas at the fire pit for al fresco dining and socialising.

Nestled in 3.5 acres, the chalets look up towards the spectacular Ben Cruachan and over Glen Etive. We have our own bluebell wood and are often visited by a myriad of wildlife. Visit the gorgeous Loch Etive, one of the finest in all of Scotland. The more energetic can climb Ben Cruachan.

Inverawe Cottages offer a wonderful haven to relax in the tranquil village of Taynuilt, Argyll. Each of the four self-catering cottages is comfortable, cosy and welcoming - ideal for a family holiday or a fishing break.

Garden Cottage adjoins Inverawe House and sleeps 6. This 2 storey cottage with its own front door opening into the glasshouse, comprises 3 twin bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, kitchen/dining room, sitting room, with door opening into the garden and small hallway on the ground floor.

Butlers Cottage also adjoins Inverawe House and comfortably sleeps up to 4. This 2 storey cottage with its own front door opening into the glasshouse, comprises 2 twin bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, kitchen/dining room, sitting room and small hallway on the ground floor.

Balure Cottage is a delightful little crofter’s cottage that sleeps 2 and is the dream cottage to get away from it all. The cottage comprises of sitting room/kitchen, a twin bedroom and shower room, with a small storm porch and an adjoining outhouse with freezer. There are also washing and drying facilities.

The Studio Flat is a delightful 2 room flat, with its own little patio onto the garden, the perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside.

Inverawe offers a delightful place to get away from it all. Completely unspoilt, with an abundance of both flora and birds, you can just walk through woodlands and parkland. Enjoy walking down on the edge of the river, or walk down to Loch Etive and enjoy all the seabirds.
