The cottage has been thoughtfully renovated to provide modern comforts while preserving its original character. Located in the peaceful village of Dinton near Salisbury, Wiltshire, it offers an ideal countryside escape.

The accommodation sleeps up to four people, with a master bedroom featuring a double bed and a second room with full-size bunk beds. Inside, guests will find a fully fitted kitchen and dining room equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, cooker, and fridge/freezer. The comfortable lounge comes with a TV and DVD player, and there is a bath/shower room.

Cools Farm Holiday Cottages offers charming self-catering accommodation in East Knoyle, just a short drive from Salisbury. Our cottages in Wiltshire are just a short drive from both Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park.

Accommodation:

We have 3 beautifully furnished cottages to choose from. All the cottages are well-equipped and come with everything you need for a tranquil getaway in the country.

The Old Piggery:

The Old Piggery is a studio apartment that can sleep 2 to 3 people. The apartment has a 5-foot double bed, single sofa bed, en suite shower room, fully equipped kitchen and a wood-burning stove for those chilly days. Outside there is a delightful garden, offering a great space for a glass or two whilst savouring the views.

The Milking Parlour:

Our wonderful cottage was once the original parlour and now offers excellent accommodation to suit all your needs. The cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 double bedrooms, 2 of which can be made as a twin. One of the rooms is en suite and a bathroom is also available. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen and savour some meals with your loved ones around the dining table. A lovely garden and terrace area is great for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

The Tractor Shed:

This fabulous cottage adjoins the Milking Parlour and can be rented together or separately. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in the 5-foot double bed which comes with en suite facilities. Enjoy some home-cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy some meals around the elegant dining table. Outside there is a terrace, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Visiting East Knoyle & Exploring Wiltshire:

Nearby is Salisbury with its ancient Cathedral and Museum. Shaftesbury is a hilltop market town which has the historic Gold Hill. Wardour Castle is a romantic ruin from the Civil War and you can visit prehistoric Stonehenge, a world heritage site. Further attractions include Longleat which has an abundance of animals to see and Stourhead comes with exquisite 18th Century landscaped gardens. Also nearby are some excellent pub restaurants for a special meal. Brilliant attractions to visit include:

With 3 ensuite bedrooms, and set within a beautiful thatched walled garden, with a fantastic pub, 2 mins walk away Enford House Cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing & peaceful break in the English countryside but is also within easy reach of tourist attractions including Stonehenge, Avebury, Salisbury, Marlborough and Bath.

The cottage is an attached wing of an 18th Century, Grade 2 listed manor house (Enford House) and is a home away from home with comfortable beds, good quality bedlinen and towels and a well-equipped kitchen. Equipped to a high standard and with good quality bed linen and towels, the Cottage sleeps between 2 to 6 people (+cot) in 3 double bedrooms which all have TVs as well as an en-suite bath or shower room. The rooms also boast fabulous views of the water meadow and walled garden.

The property is surrounded by the walled garden which is situated next to the village church and beyond that fields. The village pub, which serves good food, is 2 minute's walk away. Wifi is available

You can unwind and relax in the cosy sitting room with 2 large sofas, an armchair, coffee table, lamps, TV & DVD Toy cupboard with young children’s books, toys and games. A well-equipped kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and grill, and fridge/freeze. A tumble dryer is located upstairs. Enjoy some delicious dishes around the dining table which seats 6 people.

A lovely south-facing patio area comes with a table, 6 chairs and barbeque for al fresco dining in the summer months. Guests are welcome to enjoy the walled garden. A door within the thatched wall leads directly to the churchyard next door and is the first stop for many walks.

There is a games room on site with Table Tennis and Pool Table. The owners live in the main house next door.

As well as Stonehenge, Salisbury, Marlborough and Avebury (all within 10-20 mins drive) guests can travel within 1 hour drive to Bath, Oxford, Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, Longleat, Stourhead, Lacock and many other places

Hinton Lodge is a gorgeous Victorian Lodge that used to be the Gate House to Hinton House. Now benefiting from its own separate entrance and no longer attached to the house, it provides our guests with a peaceful and secluded retreat. Hinton Lodge simply oozes character with its lovely open porch overlooking a field where Magic and Wally, the owner’s two lovely horses, graze lazily. It is perfect for families with children who enjoy watching the horses or the many rabbits jumping through the grass.
