The accommodation at Coastguard Cottage is designed for comfort and convenience. The beautifully furnished property sleeps up to eight people, making it perfect for a family or group looking for a special place to stay. The cosy lounge is equipped with comfortable sofas, an electric flame-effect fire, a Freeview TV, and a DVD player, providing a warm and inviting space to relax after a day of exploring.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday, including an electric cooker, kettle, toaster, utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave, and a washer/dryer. The dining area features a table that seats up to eight people, where you can enjoy a home-cooked meal together.

There are four bedrooms in the cottage, offering plenty of space for everyone. Two of the bedrooms are doubles, one is a twin, and the fourth is a bunk bedroom, ideal for children. Two shower rooms and two separate toilets add to the convenience of the property.

Outside, the patio area is a wonderful spot for alfresco dining, with a table and chairs provided for guests to enjoy the afternoon sun. For ultimate relaxation, the hot tub is the perfect place to unwind.

Coastguard Cottage serves as an excellent base for exploring the Norfolk Broads, with its picturesque inland waterways and charming villages. The Annexe, Winchester, Hampshire (Sleeps 1-3)

The Annexe offers charming self catering accommodation near Winchester. We are in a brilliant location for discovering all that Hampshire has to offer.

Accommodation

Our cosy ground floor self-contained flat is attached to the owner’s bungalow and has its own front door. The annexe is tastefully furnished and well-equipped for a comfortable getaway.

Inside there is a spacious lounge/diner with a TV/DVD player and radio. This a lovely space to unwind in after a day exploring. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: all electric with a washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer.

The bedroom comes with twin beds, whilst an opening folding bed for a third person is in the lounge. All linen is free of charge. A bathroom has a power shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. A separate WC is available.

Outside there is a decked garden with a seat and table, offering a lovely spot for a glass of wine in the afternoon sun.

Visiting Winchester & Exploring Hampshire

Within walking distance are several shops, including Waitrose. The cathedral city of Winchester is nearby, with a railway station 5 minutes away by car or 25 minutes to walk. In Winchester, you can take a guided tour of its historic cathedral or explore the shops and restaurants. Visit the imposing ruins of Wolvesey Castle or have a fascinating day out at Winchester Science, a museum and planetarium. Great attractions to visit include:

Cools Farm Holiday Cottages offers charming self-catering accommodation in East Knoyle, just a short drive from Salisbury. Our cottages in Wiltshire are just a short drive from both Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park.

Accommodation:

We have 3 beautifully furnished cottages to choose from. All the cottages are well-equipped and come with everything you need for a tranquil getaway in the country.

The Old Piggery:

The Old Piggery is a studio apartment that can sleep 2 to 3 people. The apartment has a 5-foot double bed, single sofa bed, en suite shower room, fully equipped kitchen and a wood-burning stove for those chilly days. Outside there is a delightful garden, offering a great space for a glass or two whilst savouring the views.

The Milking Parlour:

Our wonderful cottage was once the original parlour and now offers excellent accommodation to suit all your needs. The cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 double bedrooms, 2 of which can be made as a twin. One of the rooms is en suite and a bathroom is also available. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen and savour some meals with your loved ones around the dining table. A lovely garden and terrace area is great for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

The Tractor Shed:

This fabulous cottage adjoins the Milking Parlour and can be rented together or separately. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in the 5-foot double bed which comes with en suite facilities. Enjoy some home-cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy some meals around the elegant dining table. Outside there is a terrace, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Visiting East Knoyle & Exploring Wiltshire:

Nearby is Salisbury with its ancient Cathedral and Museum. Shaftesbury is a hilltop market town which has the historic Gold Hill. Wardour Castle is a romantic ruin from the Civil War and you can visit prehistoric Stonehenge, a world heritage site. Further attractions include Longleat which has an abundance of animals to see and Stourhead comes with exquisite 18th Century landscaped gardens. Also nearby are some excellent pub restaurants for a special meal. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
