**The Bothy**

This spacious cottage is ideal for couples looking for a romantic retreat. It can accommodate up to 2 people and features a luxurious double bed with stunning countryside views. The bathroom comes with a walk-in shower, and the open lounge/diner/kitchen area offers a cosy space to unwind. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the lounge includes comfortable seating and a TV. Guests are treated to a welcome pack that includes fresh free-range eggs, Cornish biscuits, and homemade Hay Lake Apple Juice.

**Wheel Cottage**

This charming cottage also sleeps up to 2 people and comes with a lovely enclosed garden for al fresco dining. The spacious double bedroom has en suite facilities, and the open plan lounge/diner/kitchen area is a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The lounge features a flat-screen TV, and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances. As in The Bothy, a welcome pack with fresh free-range eggs, Cornish biscuits, and homemade Hay Lake Apple Juice is provided.

If you're a horse lover, you can even bring your horse along, as Hay Lake Farm offers equestrian facilities.

Lower Marsh Farm offers stunning self catering accommodation on the edge of Landulph in the gorgeous Tamar Valley. Located near Saltash in Cornwall, we are in a truly beautiful setting, with private woodlands, an orchard and our own Salt Marsh Nature Reserve.

Kingfisher Barn – Sleeps 8
This luxurious stone barn conversion is perfect for a special family or group holiday. The floor boasts a wonderful open plan lofty beamed ceiling kitchen/living area with oak flooring, a dining table and fully equipped kitchen. The relaxing living area comes with a large 49’’ flat-screen TV with satellite, DVD/Blue-Ray player, toasty wood burner and 5.1 Surround Sound with AirPlay Streaming. Outside there is a private garden with a hot tub, BBQ and a table and chairs for al fresco dining.

Bulrush Barn – Sleeps 3
This traditional stone barn is based in the upper floor and offers high-quality accommodation. A lovely open plan living/kitchen/dining area will suit all your needs. You can relax on the corner sofa in front of the large flat-screen Satellite TV and DVD player. A wood burner will keep you toasty in the winter months. The kitchen is well equipped with a range of appliances. Outside there is a large, fenced private garden and stylish wood-fired hot tub to soak yourself in.

Orchard Cottage – Sleeps 3
This Victorian Gothic style property provides outstanding accommodation and is set in on the ground floor. The property benefits from a recently refurbished eat-in kitchen, stylish bathroom and comfy living space with wood floors, flat-screen TV with Satellite and a cosy wood burner. Outside there is a wonderful private garden overlooking the orchard. The space comes with a lovely hot tub, table and chairs and BBQ. Bedrooms consist of a king and a double sofa bed. Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy cotton towels and complementary toiletries are included.

You have lots of great attractions to explore in the local area, including discounted tickets for the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. You can visit Seaton & Downderry Beach which only a 30 minute drive away. Just down the road from us is Pentillie Castle and Trematon Castle Garden is only a few miles away. Fantastic attractions include:

Markwell Farm Cottages, Landrake, Saltash, Cornwall

Markwell Farm Cottages in Landrake, Saltash, provides superb self catering accommodation in 4 charming cottages in a glorious part of Cornwall. Located on a peaceful Cornish farm with 400 acres of land, we are the ideal place for a memorable holiday experience.

Our thoughtfully converted cottages were originally two 18th Century stone barns and sleep between 2 and 6 people. Each cottage enjoys spectacular south facing views of the gorgeous Cornish countryside.

The Stable:

Our lovely cottage includes a double room with a traditional four-poster bed and adjoining shower room. The living area is on the ground floor with a beamed ceiling and well equipped kitchen: full-size electric cookers, microwaves and fridge/freezers. There is a washing machine for use by guests in a building near to the cottages. 

The Shippen:

Our charming cottage is of traditional design with French windows leading into the living room on the ground floor. Exposed beams complement the large, traditional kitchen full-size electric cookers, microwaves and fridge/freezers. There is also a comfortable living room. Stairs lead to a shower room and a large twin bedroom. Exposed beams have been retained to enhance the character, with patio doors leading to a large balcony. There is access through this room to the large double bedroom with en suite shower room. Another balcony is reached through patio windows. 

The Granary:

The delightful self catering holiday home has a double and a twin bedroom, separated by the living room and a shower room /WC. The living room and kitchen are reached through the patio doors from the parking area at the rear of the building. More patio doors lead to the balcony. The fully equipped kitchen comes with full-size electric cookers, microwaves and fridge/freezers.

The Dairy:

The largest of our cottages sleeps up to 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms which include a double, twin and a large bunk bed. An en suite shower room adjoins the twin bedroom, with another bathroom (shower over bath) next to the other bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with full-size electric cookers, microwaves and fridge/freezers.

Walk on the farm or venture a little further. Markwell farm is the perfect location to explore South Devon and South East Cornwall. Plymouth and Saltash are a short drive away.

Its quiet location affords superb views over rolling countryside with the spectacular St Germans viaduct and the River Tiddy as its centrepiece. The farm, which is 400 acres, has suckler cows and a large sheep flock as well as growing arable crops. Of course there are also a collection of dogs, cats, ponies, goats and pet lambs to greet you and make friends with. 

Two 18th century barns have been tastefully converted into 4 cottages each sleeping between 2 and 6 people. Offering high quality, self catering accommodation in a tranquil location but within easy reach of the best that Cornwall has to offer. 

Children are welcome and we can accept dogs in some of the cottages. While it is a commercially run farm, features have been enhanced to ensure that visitors are able to enjoy their stay to the full.
