Number Nine is a spacious and comfortable, family-friendly self-catering holiday home near Aviemore, set within the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. Situated on the edge of the forest in a quiet cul-de-sac in the scenic village of Carrbridge, the property provides a peaceful base for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Accommodation

Inside, the cosy sitting room features an open fire, with a complimentary basket of logs provided. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV with Chromecast, a DVD player, and a selection of games, books, maps and DVDs. A fireguard is available on request.

The modern kitchen is well equipped and includes a large dining table seating six, gas hob and electric oven, microwave, George Foreman grill, dishwasher, large fridge, upright freezer, washing machine and cafetière. A separate utility room with a clothes pulley offers a practical space for drying outdoor clothing and equipment after a day of adventure.

The accommodation comprises a double bedroom with en suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, a single child’s bedroom, and two additional single bedrooms. The main bathroom includes both a bath and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided, with additional fleece blankets and duvets available in each bedroom.

The property also benefits from Wi-Fi, ample storage for jackets and outdoor wear, a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, high chair, and essential household items such as dishcloths, hand soap, toilet rolls, washing-up liquid and dishwasher tablets.

Outside

Number Nine offers a front garden and a fully enclosed rear garden laid with gravel and raised heather beds, providing a safe outdoor space for families (please note there is no lawn). Parking is available for up to three cars, and electricity and gas are included in the rental. For added peace of mind, the house is equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit.

Visiting the Area

Carrbridge is a charming Highland village with plenty to see and do nearby. The village is home to the historic Carrbridge Packhorse Bridge, the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands, as well as the popular Landmark Forest Adventure Park.

A short drive away, Aviemore offers year-round outdoor activities, while the spectacular Cairngorms National Park provides opportunities for walking, cycling, wildlife watching and winter sports. With ancient forests, scenic lochs and mountain views all within easy reach, Carrbridge is an excellent base for exploring the Scottish Highlands.
