There are two comfortable lounges, both featuring seating and a TV, providing plenty of space to relax after a day exploring Orkney. An open fire adds extra warmth and character on cooler days.

The bathroom includes a shower over the bath.

Midhouse is powered using renewable energy, with oil central heating providing backup during calm weather conditions.

Outside, the garden grounds surrounding the house provide a wonderful place to sit and admire the views across the loch. Ample off-street parking is available, while the outbuildings offer useful storage space for outdoor equipment.

Accommodation
Our luxurious property is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. The house is beautifully furnished and comes with everything you need for a magical getaway.

Unwind in the cosy open plan living/dining area that comes with glass frontage and enjoys glorious views of the Atlantic. Facilities included a TV and DVD player. Rustle up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: cooker/microwave/dishwasher and fridge freezer.

Two attractive bedrooms are available including a bespoke king-size bed. All the rooms come with quality Egyptian cotton. A day bed is also available in the living area. A bathroom comes with a walk-in large open shower area leading to a sauna area.

Outside there is a large decking area and a small patio area with seating, offering a great spot for a coffee in the morning sun. You can soak away your troubles in the hot tub whilst savouring the views.

Visiting Birsay & Exploring Orkney
We are in a great position for exploring the area. Nearby there are free local loch fishing and archaeological sites. Enjoy scenic coastal walks from the Point of Buckquoy to the Brough of Birsay. Enjoy a warm beverage at the Birsay Bay Tearoom or have some lovely food at Julia’s Bistro in Stromness. Great attractions to visit include:
