Anglers Paradise in Beaworthy offers wonderful self-catering accommodation, set in a stunning position. We are a haven for anglers, offering 30 lakes to fish in, all surrounded by idyllic Devonshire countryside.

Accommodation:

We have an array of beautifully furnished villas to choose from. All the villas are finished to a luxury standard and sleep between 2- 9 people. Each Villa has all the home comforts that you will need for a comfortable and restful stay. We provide the bedding but please bring your own towels. The villas also offer an outside secure rod room.

All the villas come well-equipped with a cosy living area including a TV and DVD player and a well-equipped kitchen for home cooking. The bedrooms come with comfy beds for a peaceful night’s sleep and there are modern bathrooms. Some of the bedrooms come with en suite facilities and some villas boast lavish four-poster beds. Outside each villa is a patio table and chairs for al fresco dining whilst savouring the spectacular setting.

Fishing:

We have a tackle and bait shop on site. The 12 main holiday lakes at Anglers Paradise are solely & exclusive to our guests only. The 12 glorious lakes are home to Carp nudging the mid 30’s, Wels Catfish now over 100 pounds, double figure Koi Carp and Golden Orfe and Tench to over 5lb+. We pride ourselves in keeping them exclusive to you and these 12 Lakes are not open to Day Tickets giving you Privacy and Space.

Facilities:

There is plenty to entertain all the family on site. We have a fabulous play area for young children with a castle and zip slide, plus a games room with a pool table, ping pong table and dart board (make sure you bring your own darts). A magnificent heated indoor swimming pool with a jacuzzi and sauna offers a truly luxurious experience. Enjoy a drink or two in our famous African Bar. Relax by the log burner in the winter months or play a game of pool or darts with friends.

Visiting Beaworthy & Exploring Devon:

We are in a great location for discovering all that the area has to offer. Only 25 minutes away is some of the country’s most stunning beaches, plus lots of scenic walks. Mallard and Moorhen Lodges

sleep 4, with private hot tub: Completed in May 2010, these superb timber clad lodges are located along the edge of the trout lake, with views over the water from the lounge, bedrooms and large decked area. The lodges are decorated in natural colours to create a modern contemporary style. They feature full double-glazing and central heating so can be enjoyed in warmth and comfort whatever the weather. The open plan lounge and dining room have 2 chocolate brown leather sofas. 42’’ LCD flat-screen TV and DVD/CD player with Freesat system. The dining area has a beautiful oak style dining table with 4 high backed dining chairs, perfect for wining and dining. The fully equipped kitchen has excellent facilities: a washing machine, full-size dishwasher, large fridge freezer and microwave oven. We also have a lovely family bathroom. Outside is a dazzling decked area on the edge of the lake with a private hot tub. There is also a picnic bench and BBQ area to enjoy on a warm Summer’s day.

We are the perfect base to explore many attractions. Bideford is both a thriving market town and working port with much to offer visitors to the region. There is a historic Pannier market dating from 1883, Victoria Park with its open-air pool and play facilities. There is a wide range of shops, bars restaurants & a tremendous range of visitor attractions for young and not so young. Bideford Quay enjoys an expansive water frontage where you can watch the comings and goings of various vessels. It is also the departure point to Lundy Island, which lies 11 miles of the coast, attracting large numbers of visitors interested in walking, bird watching and naturalists who enjoy the wildflowers. If you enjoy a little retail therapy, you may want to head for Atlantic Village a large factory outlet store located on the edge of town, where there are 37 stores offering leading brands at up to 50% discount. The centre also includes a food court and a family adventure park, all with free parking. There are many exhibitions at the Burton Art Gallery throughout the year, and the local theatres in Barnstaple and Ilfracombe have a wide range of shows throughout the summer. The Tarka Trail cycle path must not be missed taking in the breathtaking scenery and many great places to stop for lunch or refreshments. Between Bideford and Barnstaple why not visit Instow a lovely beach with good food and great views of the estuary.
