This chalet sleeps 5 in 2 double beds and 1 single bed, ideal for a family looking for a Cornish beach getaway. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave and a fridge with a freezer compartment, so you can stock up and cook up delicious meals throughout your stay!

Your home cooked meals can be enjoyed at the dining table or outside, al fresco, on the small patio with a bench table. There is also a lounge with comfortable seating and a smart TV to keep you or the little ones entertained when you’re not out exploring.

Just a few minutes walk away lies the magnificent beaches of The Towans, 3 miles of golden sand stretching all the way from the Hayle Estuary to the 26 metre tall Victorian Godrevy Lighthouse.

Additional attractions include the Tin Mine at Trewavas Head near Porthleven, offering history and a great place for a coastal walk! The renowned open air Minack Theatre sited above a beautiful beach is a must see and there are an array of beaches and museums to discover in the vicinity, including Porthminster Beach and the Barbara Hepsworth Museum and Sculpture Garden!

Treford offers charming self catering accommodation at Riviere Towans chalet site in Phillack. We are nestled in a stunning location right on the beach and boast stunning sea views. You can visit the port town of Hayle and a range of brilliant attractions in Cornwall.

Accommodation

Our lovely chalet is perfect for a magical coastal getaway. The property sleeps 4 people and is well-equipped throughout.

Inside there is a well-equipped kitchen for home cooking, including a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. Unwind in the cosy living room after a day on the beach and savour the spectacular views. Sliding doors open onto a glass chrome balcony with chairs and a small table, ideal for a glass of wine in the afternoon sun.

Two bedrooms are available, including a double and bunk room. Both rooms share a bathroom with an electric shower over. All bed linen and towels are included, apart from bath and beach towels.

Outside there is a water tap and we provide a range of beach games, buckets, spades and nets and folding chairs.

Visiting Phillack & Exploring Cornwall

We are just a short stroll from the beach, home to 3 miles of golden sands. The beach offers some of Cornwall’s finest surfing spots, whilst body boarding and kite surfing etc can also be enjoyed. The area has lots of peaceful lanes for relaxing bike rides and nearby there is a general store and 2 pubs. A beach cafe at the top of the cliffs is available during the holiday season. Gwithian Beach Houses are nestled in a lovely part of Cornwall, on the outskirts of Gwithian near Hayle. Our self catering chalets have lovely views of the sand dunes bordering Gwithian Beach and are an ideal base from which to explore this lovely corner of Cornwall.

There is an on-site shop and laundrette facilities, alternatively, there are numerous supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants within easy reach.

About Gwithian Beach Houses

We have a range of beautifully furnished chalets available. They are furnished in simple yet modern styles with comfort in mind whilst providing all of the expected modern facilities. The large, comfortable living area boasts a fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge with relaxing sofas, comfy chairs and flat-screen TVs. The main bedrooms have double beds and the second bedrooms have either twin beds (Sunnyside & Pebbles) or bunk beds and a single bed (Blue Ocean). Sunnyside also has a double sofa bed in the lounge.

The kitchen/dining areas are fully equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay including cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, utensils, pots, pans, glasses, mugs etc. Patio doors lead onto the decking area, where there is further seating for relaxing and eating al fresco in the warmth of the Cornish sun.

Parking is conveniently located next to the chalet. Electricity is via a £1 coin meter. Dogs are welcome (except July & August) for an additional charge.

Visiting Gwithian & Exploring Cornwall

A short walk, over the beautiful sand dunes, reaches the unspoilt beach at Gwithian, which is never crowded, even during the summer. The beach is excellent for bathing, while younger children can enjoy safe paddling in numerous rock pools. The beach is ideal for surfing, wind & kite surfing and bodyboarding. There are many local places of interest and the surrounding area is great for rambling.

Our Cornish Chalets are set in a very peaceful location and many people simply enjoy relaxing in the grounds of Gwithian Sands during the day, taking in the sun and allowing children (and adults!) to play on the Dunes. In the evening you can relax and unwind on the decking and even dine al fresco.

Seamore Chalet is a traditional property providing quality self catering accommodation in a private position on the Riviere Towans site which is close to the Cornish town of Hayle. This is the ideal place to stay for visiting the beach and estuary.

This recently renovated chalet can accommodate 6 people in a double, bunk and a twin room. There is a large open plan living/dining room which includes a TV, DVD player, CD player, games, books and dining table. The separate kitchen is fitted with modern units and has a washing machine, full-size oven/hob, microwave, fridge freezer and sufficient crockery, cutlery, cookware etc. for up to six people, including a picnic set.

This is a beautiful area to stay in. It is perfect for walking, cycling, golfing, fishing, wildlife watching, surfing and windsurfing.
