Beach View Cottage is one of three self-catering cottages nestled in a peaceful hamlet high on the hillside above the breathtaking Three Cliffs Bay. Located on the renowned Gower Peninsula—the UK’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—this cottage is the ideal destination for nature lovers, beach enthusiasts, and anyone in search of a tranquil holiday framed by spectacular coastal views.

Newly constructed with traditional craftsmanship, Beach View Cottage is an oak-framed, timber-clad property built to the highest standards. Its charm lies not only in its extraordinary setting but also in its warm, characterful design. Inside, guests will find solid oak internal doors, a limestone floor, and an inviting, contemporary interior that blends style with comfort.

The open-plan living space is perfectly positioned to showcase panoramic sea views. It features a two-seater sofa, an armchair, and a Stressless recliner with footstool—ideal for unwinding after a day on the beach. The modern kitchen is fully fitted and includes a granite worktop, single oven, hob, microwave, under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, and a dishwasher. All cookware, crockery, and cutlery are provided, along with thoughtful extras such as a hand blender, iron, ironing board, pegs, and a clothes horse.

Elegant Bedrooms and Amenities

The cottage accommodates up to four guests. The master bedroom boasts sea views and a king-size bed, while the second bedroom can be configured as either a king-size or twin room, depending on guest preference. The bathroom is separate and equipped with a shower and WC.

A premium bedding package is included, featuring a 10.5 tog duvet and anti-allergy pillows. Guests are also provided with bath towels, hand towels, tea towels, and a bath mat for added convenience.

Accessed via a tarmac lane that leads directly to the bay, the property is located through a farm gate on the left and includes a private parking space with level entry for easy arrival.

The cottage comfortably sleeps 9 to 14 people with the inclusion of a linked annex, making it an ideal choice for a celebration or family function. It is tastefully furnished and equipped with a variety of facilities to cater to all needs.

The interior of the cottage features a well-equipped kitchen, complete with a Range cooker, large Samsung fridge/freezer, a small under-counter fridge, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and an extensive selection of kitchen utensils and gadgets. The dining area includes an extendable table that can seat up to 14 guests. The sunny living room is furnished with three large, comfortable sofas, an armchair, a large wool rug on oak flooring, a coffee table ideal for games or puzzles, a TV, and a DVD player.

Guests can also relax in the sun-filled conservatory or enjoy the beautiful patio and garden, which is equipped with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining. Additionally, there is a summerhouse perfect for unwinding.

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms each with super king beds that can be converted into twin divans, both featuring en suite facilities. The ground floor houses a family triple room with a king-size bed and divan, also with en suite facilities. Another bedroom features a double bed, and there is also a family bathroom on this level.

Annex Details:

The annex, which is accessible through the outer entrance hall of the main house, accommodates an additional 3 adults and 2 children. It offers a lovely open-plan living area including a lounge with a gas flame burner and comfy seating, and a kitchen/diner fully fitted for self-catering needs. The sleeping arrangements include a king bedroom and another room with a single divan and a bunk set, both sharing a family bathroom.

Bayview Oxwich provides luxury self catering accommodation in a range of apartments and cottages, nestled on the outskirts of the village of Oxwich. We are based in twelve acres of private grounds, backed by natural woodland, just a 7-minute walk to the sea. Our properties in The Gower Peninsula boast wonderful panoramic views across the bay and The city of Swansea is easily accessible and provides an array of amenities.

Apartments

We have 2 fabulous apartments to choose from, with the first floor 2 bedroom apartment boasting stunning views over the Bay. Our 3-bed ground floor apartment is beautifully furnished and comes with a private enclosed space for al fresco dining whilst enjoying glorious coastal and countryside views.

Both apartments come with beautiful bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath/and/or en suite shower room. The kitchens are well-equipped and the modern open plan living/dining space is perfect for unwinding in. Each apartment has private parking and there are Zappi eco-smart EV charge points.

Cottages

We have 3 brand new, luxury cottages to choose from, Tŷ Megan, Tŷ Florence and Tŷ Alice. These modern 3 bed cottages are brimming with individual character and are finished to the highest standards. The living space and covered terrace take advantage of the amazing bay views.

Each cottage sleeps 6-8 in the ground floor bedroom and a family bathroom comes with a bath and/or en suite shower room. The open living/dining/kitchen space will suit all your needs. The state-of-the-art kitchen comes with an island/dining space and a range of appliances for home-cooking. Throughout the cottages, there are beautiful furnishings and each comes with private parking. All the cottages have Zappi eco-smart EV charge points.

Visiting Oxwich & Exploring Glamorgan

The pretty village of Oxwich is situated at the Western end of Oxwich Bay. It has 2 castles, a National Nature Reserve and of course the bay with beautiful sand dunes. Swansea is a vibrant city with plenty of amenities and attractions such as Singleton Botanical Gardens and National Waterfront Museum. The Gower Peninsula packs everything you might need for a beautiful holiday by the sea. This area is ideal for many outdoor activities including:

Inside the cottage, there is a well-equipped kitchen with a Range cooker, large Samsung fridge/freezer, small under-counter fridge, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave and an extensive choice of kitchen utensils & gadgets. The extendable dining table seats 14. Unwind in the sunny living room which comes with 3 large sofas, comfy sofas, an armchair, a large wool rug on an oak floor, coffee table (good for playing games/puzzles!) TV & a DVD player.

You can also unwind in the sun-filled conservatory or the beautiful patio and garden which has garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining. There is also a delightful summerhouse to unwind in.

Annex:

Our wonderful annex is linked to the main house through the outer entrance hall, with two steps leading to the front door which has its own key. The annex sleeps 3 adults and 2 children and includes a lovely open-plan lounge/kitchen/dinner. The cosy lounge has a gas flame burner, comfy seating area and dining table. Two attractive bedrooms are available: a king and a room with a single divan and bunk set. Both rooms share a family bathroom.

We are lucky to be right next to the renowned Pennard Golf Links (visitors welcome), the path to Three Cliffs and Pobbles Bay, and walking distance to the well known Three Cliffs Coffee Shop, PO and Stores. The village pub is just around the corner and the library, pharmacy and medical centre are also a short walk away. Another food shop is now stocking excellent local farm meat and vegetables.

There are plenty of castles, museums and historical villages to visit in the Gower. And don’t forget the National Waterfront Museum where kids can get interactive with history. The Swansea Museum takes you back to the prehistoric past and the Gower Heritage Centre has working woollen and watermills as well as craft and pottery workshops, a puppet theatre and tearooms. You can visit the birthplace of Dylan Thomas which has been fully restored or enjoy one of the many concerts on offer at Oystermouth Castle.

Butterslade and Ramsgrove are 2 converted barns at Kimley Moor Farm in Rhossili. The character has been maintained with the open beams and stonework. Both cottages are ideal for larger families looking to be together but still have privacy, or rent one cottage for a cosy relaxing holiday in the very beautiful Gower Peninsular with its stunning beaches.

Although quiet and peaceful, our holiday cottages are ideally situated as they are within easy access to the local beaches. It is just a short walk from the very beautiful coastal path to Mewslade Bay, Fall Bay and Rhossili Bay. We are very lucky to have the best of both worlds; not only do we have the beaches, but looking inland, there are stunning views of far-reaching countryside.

Bluebell Cottage & Gower View, Pwll, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire (Sleeps 1-6)

Bluebell Cottage & Gower View provide rural self-catering accommodation. Both enjoy panoramic views over the Gower Peninsula and Loughor Estuary. They are situated just outside of Pwll and close to Llanelli.

Gower View is perfect for a romantic getaway or family holiday. The cosy apartment sleeps 4 in a comfortable double bedroom and a double sofa bed. The apartment enjoys glorious sea views. The apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen/dining area for home-cooking, a washing machine and an outside decking/seating area for al fresco dining.

Our magical shepherd huts offer some of the most stunning sea views on site. You’ll also see our trio of friendly goats nearby. 

We are situated between Llanelli and Burry Port. There is easy access to all local amenities, shops and places of interest. Llanelli is a well-kept secret.

Pembrey Country Park is just 10 minutes away and the outstanding Gower Peninsula is only 30 minutes away.

Hill House is a spacious self-catering holiday home with extensive gardens. It is set in a peaceful setting on a no-through lane in the village of Llanrhidian, 10 miles from Swansea and Glamorgan. This holiday accommodation provides room for up to 9 people and offers wonderful views across fields and the salt marshes within the Gower Peninsula.

There is a well-equipped sitting room with open log fire &  a farmhouse style kitchen/dining room with all modern appliances. The house also benefits from having a second sitting room with a TV and estuary views. The ground floor has a twin bedroom with garden access and a shower room.

The first floor has a master bedroom with views to the west, north and east. There is also second double bedroom overlooking the rear garden and a third bedroom with three single beds.

The Gower coastal footpath runs alongside the cottage and there are many other local footpaths to suit walkers of all abilities. Swansea is a great place to visit with 5 miles of beach and a promenade. The city also has 52 acres of parks, gardens and green spaces.
