Pump Cottage – Sleeps 4

Pump Cottage combines rustic character with modern comfort, retaining many of its original features, including the old well and pump outside. Sleeping up to four guests across two bedrooms, the main bedroom features a four-poster double bed, while the second offers twin beds. A travel cot and highchair are available for families.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with an electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. A washing machine is located in the shared laundry room. The lounge seats four comfortably and includes a flat-screen Freeview TV, DVD player, and a selection of books, games, and puzzles.

Outside, guests can unwind on a private enclosed patio or explore over two acres of woodland and gardens leading down to the River Waveney. Private off-road parking is available for two cars.

Alderwood Lodges consists of three luxury timber lodges situated in Diss literally a few yards from the Norfolk/Suffolk border. The market towns of Diss & Thetford are only 8 miles away. These lodges are furnished to a high standard and are situated in nine acres of woodland and grassland beside the Little Ouse. This tranquil site on the edge of the Brecks with unique flora and fauna holds the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation.

Burnside:

This is a two-bedroomed lodge with a kitchen/diner, lounge area and bathroom. Fully carpeted throughout, the lodge is heated by electric panel heaters in all rooms. There is also an electric coal effect fire in the lounge. All linen is provided, including towels and tea towels. The cost of electricity is included in the rental charge. The open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area has two 2 seater settees and a TV/DVD player. French doors open onto a verandah with garden furniture to enjoy outdoor meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and automatic washer/dryer.
