The cottages are fully self-contained and comfortably equipped, with everything guests need for an enjoyable stay.
Guests have access to shared, enclosed grounds overlooking Skiddaw, providing a lovely place for relaxing or enjoying al fresco dining in fine weather. The owners live on site and are available should assistance be required.
An added attraction is the delightful on-site gallery and tearoom. Guests receive a complimentary drink on arrival as well as 10% off purchases from the gallery.
Birch
Birch is a beautifully restored ground-floor cottage with two comfortable bedrooms, comprising one double and one twin.
The welcoming lounge and dining area features a TV, DVD player and electric fire, making it a cosy place to relax after exploring the Lakes. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer.
There is also a bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.
Elm

Bassenthwaite Lake is within easy walking distance of the cottages. This peaceful lake provides opportunities for fishing and sailing and is also home to a wildlife reserve.
On its eastern shore are the impressive grounds of historic Mirehouse, the family home of the Spedding family.
Derwentwater, often known as the Queen of the English Lakes, is another highlight of the area. Surrounded by dramatic scenery and dotted with islands, the lake offers a variety of boating activities, including motor launches, rowing, sailing and canoeing.

Weekly rates range from £520 to £1,250 depending on the season and chosen property, with short breaks available from £450.
The largest individual property accommodates up to six guests, while Birch, Elm and Rowan can be booked together to sleep up to ten people.
Children are welcome, and pets can stay by prior arrangement.
Wi-Fi/internet access and off-street parking are available.
A 50% deposit is payable when booking, with the remaining balance due 28 days before arrival.
