Kerroobeg is an original Manx cottage that has recently been extended and refurbished to a very high standard. Set in a remote and tranquil location on the slopes of South Barrule near Cringle Plantation, it offers spectacular views down to Castletown and the southern coastline.

This charming countryside retreat accommodates up to four guests across two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The property features a luxurious bathroom with separate shower and bath, a cosy living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a stunning oak-framed sunroom overlooking the surrounding landscape.

Inside the Cottage

The sunroom is an oak-framed haven, facing south and west with large windows, comfortable sofas, coffee tables, and soft lighting—perfect for relaxing and taking in the views.

The living/dining area includes an original Manx dresser, plush seating, Smart TV with Freesat and DVD player, and a dining table for six.

The bedrooms feature thick carpets, top-quality beds, and ample storage, all dressed in Egyptian cotton bedding. One room includes a king-size bed, while the other offers zip-and-link beds adaptable to a super king.

The bathroom is fully tiled with separate bath and shower, underfloor heating, quality toiletries, and fluffy towels.

The kitchen is spacious and well-appointed with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, and generous worktop space.

There is also a large hallway with cloakroom and plenty of hanging space.

Kerroobeg is about 4.5 miles from Castletown, 5 miles from the airport, and 9 miles from the sea terminal. Nestled in peaceful countryside, it's a haven for walkers, cyclists, and bird watchers, with many scenic footpaths, glens, and plantations nearby.

We offer offers charming accommodation in this beautifully converted 19th Century barn. The barn blends traditional and modern features, perfect for a cosy getaway.

Inside our cottage is a cosy lounge with a wood-burning stove and Now TV. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully equipped farmhouse kitchen that includes a dishwasher, American-style fridge freeze and a modern electric range cooker with an induction hob.

Bedrooms consist of 2 king en suites, 1 double room and 1 single bedroom. The single bedroom downstairs is adjacent to a WC and washbasin. The large family bathroom has a bath and fixed shower.

Outside we have a private garden with a BBQ and garden furniture, perfect for al fresco dining whilst savouring the valley views.

The Stables is a cosy and comfortable holiday home at Rhyd Y Felin on the Isle of Anglesey. The cottage is lovingly converted stable attached to a former farm cottage with about half an acre of garden and orchard where free-range hens roam. This is a fantastic base for a couple who want to explore this beautiful part of Wales.

The cottage consists of an open plan area with a crog (gallery) loft with double bed, a shower room/WC, well-equipped kitchen, and a main living area with two large comfortable leather settees, TV, dining table and chairs.

The Stables is situated 4 miles inland from picturesque Cemaes Bay and a short drive from Amlwch. There is a dog friendly local pub serving meals about 1ml away. Shops, takeaways and pubs serving food can be found in both Cemaes Bay and Amlwch. Cemlyn Bay National Trust nature reserve is also nearby.

The cottage is within easy distance from Llyn Alaw for bird watching, fishing, walking. There is an excellent beach at Cemaes Bay. Signposted scenic cycle routes on Anglesey can also be picked up near to the cottage.
