Gwêl y Dŵr overlooks Lake Padarn in the village of Llanberis within walking distance of all attractions and Snowdon. It is an easy drive to all tourist areas of North Wales and the Isle of Anglesey.

The self catering accommodation is self detached and can accommodate up to 6 people (4 single beds and one bunk bed).

There is an open plan living/kitchen/dining area.

Gwêl y Dŵr has one bathroom and one ensuite as well.

There is plenty to see and do in the area for all ages. The accommodation is situated in the Snowdonia National Park which is a truly impressive place with stunning scenery. Nearby you can climb Snowdon or catch the train if you wish! Other attractions nearby include:

Tal Eryr, meaning Tall Eagle River is a large farmhouse situated on the Llyn Peninsula in the beautiful countryside of North Wales.

This substantial house is surrounded by sea and mountains and are set in 18 acres of livestock farmland. This unique and attractive property is tucked away at the end of the drive where a tree-lined path runs alongside a stream down to the sea. Tal Eryr is set in farmland and have sweeping views across the countryside and along the coastline. Tal Eryr has its own private garden.

The pebble beach is only a two minute walk away and looks out towards Trefor and Yr Eifl mountains. When the tide is out, there are large areas of flat sand and abundance of rock pools, where you can find many different varieties of sea life.

Tal Eryr is in a secluded area on the coast positioned just between Caernarfon (20 mins drive)  and Pwelheli (15 mins drive) and we are within 45 minutes drive of the Llyn and Snowdonia National Parks.

The Llyn Peninsula is designated an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with 50 miles of Heritage Coast and a wealth of sandy beaches and rocky headlands; this a habitat for choughs, puffins, dolphins and seals. Its remarkable history goes back to the Iron Age times and beyond. Rich with legends, hill forts, ancient churches, the Llyn Peninsula has lots of attractions for all to enjoy.
