The Moretons – Self-Catering Cottages in the Cotswolds
The Moretons offers quality self-catering cottages set in beautiful grounds just outside the village of Bredon in the Cotswolds. Conveniently located near Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Evesham, the property is within easy reach of local village pubs, a grocery store, post office, pottery, beauty salon, and an antiques shop with a café. The Moretons is ideal for romantic breaks, family holidays or gatherings with friends, with four properties available ranging in size from cottages for two to a farmhouse accommodating up to 14 guests.
The Moretons Farmhouse (Sleeps 14)
Dating back to around 1840, the original farmhouse has been carefully adapted to welcome up to 14 guests. It features a large dining room with seating for up to 24 (by prior arrangement), a spacious kitchen with a range cooker, a snug with double sofa bed, and a private walled garden with patio furniture and a badminton net.
Corner House (Sleeps 4)
Corner House provides accommodation for four in two double or twin bedrooms. A large kitchen and dining area seats up to 10, making it an excellent option for those booking in combination with other cottages. The upstairs sitting room offers lovely views over the gardens towards Bredon Hill.
Furlong Cottage & The Banda (Each Sleeps 2)
Furlong Cottage and The Banda are one-bedroom cottages, each sleeping two guests in either a double or twin room. Perfect for a romantic getaway, they can also be booked alongside larger properties for additional accommodation.
Facilities
Guests at The Moretons enjoy access to a heated indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, a children’s play area with playhouse and equipment, and five acres of gardens and orchard. Seasonal activities such as pitch-and-putt golf, badminton and table tennis are also available.
Each property is well equipped and prepared with essentials for arrival, including washing up liquid, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, hand soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, cling film, foil, salt and pepper, instant coffee, sugar and tea bags. Bed linen, towels, tea towels and pool towels are all provided.
Patio and garden furniture are available outside each house, with ample parking provided nearby and additional guest parking on site. During the festive season, each house is decorated with its own Christmas tree.
Exploring Bredon & Gloucestershire
The nearest town, Tewkesbury, offers supermarkets, independent shops, cafés and restaurants. The surrounding area provides opportunities for tennis, golf, horse riding, cycling, windsurfing and walking. With Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham Spa and the Malvern Hills all within easy reach, The Moretons makes an excellent base for exploring Gloucestershire and beyond.
