Stable Cottage is on the popular Yorkshire East Coast just outside the village of Scalby in Scarborough and within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park are these four well-appointed self catering holiday cottages. Two cottages have the advantage of ground floor facilities.

The self catering accommodation is available all year round including Christmas and New Year and ideal for those short winter breaks during low season.

Stable Cottage

This four bedroom barn conversion is ideal for the larger family. The holiday cottage has been renovated to the highest of standards having good quality furnishings throughout and the benefit of your own secure private garden and patio overlooking the fields.

Ground Floor: A beautiful modern kitchen. Shower room with WC and wash hand basin. Separate lounge/diner with door to rear garden and stairs leading to the first floor with feature galleried landing. There is one double bedroom and one single bedroom.

First Floor: one double bedroom and one single bedroom. Separate bathroom with 3 piece suite and shower attachment on the bath.

Facilities: gas cooker and separate gas hob, microwave, fridge (incorporating small freezer), washing machine, kettle, toaster. Bed linen supplied (not towels). Colour TV/DVD, CD player. Full oil fired central heating (underfloor heating to ground floor) and electricity included in rent. Smoke alarm.

Wren Cottage

This cottage is also converted from old farm buildings and sympathetically designed to offer spacious accommodation of a very high standard. This property would suit families or couples alike and has the benefit of a delightful and secure lawned garden and patio offering total privacy.

Ground Floor: large pine breakfast kitchen with spacious dining area and stairs leading to the first floor. Separate lounge. There are lovely open views to front from a large picture window and door to rear garden.

First Floor: one double bedroom (double bed and room for Z-bed or cot if required), vanity sink and shaver point. There is one twin bedroom with vanity sink and shaver point. Separate bathroom with 3 piece suite and shower attachment on the bath.

Badger Cottage

Carefully converted from old farm buildings this imaginative and tasteful renovation features exposed beams and stripped pine doors giving the cottage a cosy country feel. This delightful cottage has a pretty and secure patio garden, perfect for relaxing in total privacy after exploring this lovely part of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Ground Floor: open-plan modern pine kitchen incorporating dining area/sitting room with good quality double sofa bed. The stairs in the sitting room area lead to the first floor.

The Old Dairy

Attached to the owner’s farmhouse this immaculate cottage offers compact yet cosy accommodation of a very high standard. Perfect for either a single person or couple the cottage offers a carefully furnished and co-ordinated interior all on ground floor level and is an excellent base for either touring or walking around the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Ground Floor: small but well equipped galley kitchen /dining with attractive pine units. There is a combined sitting room/double bedroom. Separate bathroom beautifully fitted with 3 piece suite, shower over bath and shaver point.

Facilities: electric baby belling cooker, microwave, fridge (incorporating small freezer), kettle, toaster. There are laundry facilities available. Bed linen/towels provided. Colour TV/video, CD player. Full oil fired central heating and electricity included in rent. Smoke alarm. The holiday cottage has its own private garden and summerhouse (only for use by Old Dairy visitors) with lovely open views.

There are also Z-beds/cots and highchairs available at no extra cost as well as patio furniture and barbeque. We also have secure storage for bikes, ample private parking. No smoking inside the holiday cottages and no pets.

3 Old Mill Cottages is a lovely self-catering cottage situated in the quiet village of Rosedale Abbey near Pickering in the North York Moors National Park.

Accommodation - sleeps 6:

The holiday cottage retains some of its original features and today offers visitors comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. There is a king-size bed and a separate single bedroom on the top floor and a larger bedroom with 3 single beds on the middle floor. We have the main bathroom (bath and shower over bath) on the middle floor, the shower room on the ground floor. The large main room on the ground floor includes a well-equipped kitchen, an extendable table to fit everyone in, comfy sofas, Smart TV and for those wanting to switch off completely… board games and puzzles!

Outside:

There is a small secluded garden at the back. The garden is gravelled and surrounded by bushes and shrubs. Garden furniture and a BBQ are there for those warmer occasions when sitting out is an option. The cottage is reached through a 5-bar gate, which opens into a shared parking area for NO3 and the adjoining cottages. There is also a small contained area at the front of the cottage which catches the morning sun. Here you’ll find a bench with a small table and chairs, great for coffee with the newspaper!

Rosedale Abbey is a delightful village boasting three pubs/restaurants, a delicatessen & coffee shop, tea room and village shop. There is a nine-hole golf course, pony trekking centre and fantastic glass works all nearby. There is plenty of places to visit nearby including:

Grange Farm Cottage, High Hawsker, Whitby, North Yorkshire (Sleeps 1-14)

Grange Farm Cottage is a large, spacious holiday cottage located on the Yorkshire Coast, midway between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. The house is very suitable for family/friends wanting to holiday together and is an excellent base to explore the Yorkshire Coast and the North Yorkshire Moors.

The first sitting room has a gas 'wood-burner effect' fire, this room also has a TV, DVD player and CD player. The second sitting room has a high vaulted beamed ceiling. The spacious dining room has an open fire. Normally there is some coal present at the house. Wooden logs can be bought locally.

The well-equipped pine kitchen is next to the dining room. The kitchen is equipped with a 110cm wide gas-oven/cooker, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. The house also has a large conservatory which gives entrance to a south-facing fenced garden and patio with garden furniture and barbecue.

First Floor - Two family rooms with double bed and full-size bunk-beds. Two twin rooms. Bathroom with bath (shower over bath), sink and WC.
Second separate WC.

Second Floor - Attic conversion (sloping ceiling), into an excellent double bedroom and en suite bathroom/WC. All the bedrooms have a TV and a washbasin.

Grange Farm is on the Yorkshire Coast in the village of High Hawsker, which is in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, midway between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay, approximately 2.5 miles from each. For those of you who like walking: Whitby, as well as Robin Hoods Bay, can be reached by foot in about 1 hour.

Whether you are young or old, walking is something we all enjoy. The area surrounding High Hawsker is one of the most beautiful and versatile areas for walking. While walking along the cliff-tops you have some spectacular views, and when you walk around the area of Falling Foss or May Beck, you will enjoy the sounds of the waterfall and streams, and the wind playing with the leaves of the trees.

Greengate is available for rental throughout the year, both for weekly periods and shorter breaks. Greengate sleeps 6 people (+ 2 on Z-beds or sofa bed), and is comfortably furnished and has an open fire in the lounge.

Greengate, previously four cottages, has been designed with both large and small families in mind. The accommodation is split across two floors, upstairs being accessed via two staircases.  There is parking for 2 - 3 cars at the rear of the property and a yard with patio furniture and BBQ.  At the front is an enclosed seating area with views into the village.
