Greengate Cottage is a beautiful self catering cottage situated in the heart of one of North Yorkshire’s prettiest villages, Hutton-le-Hole in the North York Moors National Park.
The kitchen in the self catering cottage is fully equipped with a cooker, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. The kitchen is a very sociable area, separated from the dining room by a large breakfast bar. A stable door leads to the outside.
The cottage benefits from a playroom that has direct access to outside and also has a wetroom. The playroom comes with two Z-beds which can be moved to any room in the house.
There is a TV and DVD player. The room is ideal for younger members of the family who may want some independence.
There is an open fire with a basket of logs ready for your arrival. There is a travel cot, high chair and stair gate should they be needed at no extra cost. The cottage has two sets of staircases, ensuring very flexible accommodation and great hide and seek games for younger visitors.
The village of Hutton-le-Hole offers a great local inn, the Ryedale Folk Museum, tea shops and craft shops. There is a tennis court available for hire, a pétanque pitch a squash court further along the road. There are fantastic opportunities for lovers of the great outdoors with walking, cycling, fishing and horse riding all within very easy reach.
Kirkbymoorside, the local market town, is only 3 miles away. it has a good range of shops and amenities including five pubs, a choice of restaurants, cafes, fish and chip shops, bakeries, a newsagent, pharmacy, supermarkets, hardware store and antique shops, as well as a golf course.
