North End Farmhouse:
Our beautiful farmhouse overlooks the lake and is perfect for a family or group looking for somewhere special to stay. The property enjoys views of the lake and rolling countryside.
The farmhouse sleeps up to 14 people in 6 bedrooms. Upstairs there are 3 doubles, 1 twin and a 4 bedded room. A downstairs bedroom comes with 2 orthopaedic single beds that can be pushed together with an adjacent wet room. One en suite room is available and there are 2 further family bathrooms.
The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: gas-fired 2 ovens 2 hob Aga and a large gas range with electric ovens. The dining table seats 14 comfortably and is made by renowned local craftsman, James Verner, with Olive Ash from the farm. We boast two sitting rooms and a snug with an inglenook fireplace and a wood-burning stove. A great hall comes with a large stone-mantled Tudor fireplace with an open fire and a hidden stone spiral staircase.
The Old Cricket Pavilion:
This charming property comes with its own enclosed garden and sitting-out area with a BBQ. Ideal for al fresco dining. The property enjoys glorious views. The double sofa bed means that the Old Cricket Pavilion will sleep 3/4. If booked with the Farmhouse, then 17 guests +infants can be accommodated at North End Farm. The living/dining area comes with a wood burner, Freeview TV and sofa bed. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom comes with a king-size bed.
The Old Dairy:
Our wonderful property comes with a lovely open plan living/kitchen/dining area, including a kitchen area with a wood burner, a piano, 2 sofas and a 6 seater dining table. The house can be combined with the Cider House using an internal door to make it a good-sized house with 4 bathrooms and 2 open plan living/kitchen areas with 2 toasty wood burners for the chillier months. Outside there is a south-facing garden with a BBQ and garden furniture for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.
The Cider House:
Our charming house sleeps 8 people in 3 upstairs bedrooms (1 super king, 1 king and a bunk room). 1 en suite bathroom is available and there is a cosy open plan living/kitchen area with a lovely snug space including a smart TV and a sofa bed, near the shower and loo room. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has a range of appliances including 5 gas hobs and a dining table that can seat 8. Outside there is a south-facing garden and west facing garden with a patio, BBQ and garden furniture.
North End Farm Cabin:
Our new glamping cabin offers that added bit of luxury compared to camping. Inside there is a bed, dining area and wood burner. The cabin also has use of a shower. Outside there is a seating area.
We also have a beautiful thatched barn that can be used by arrangement for private functions – please enquire for details.
Lots of wonderful attractions are available nearby. Bovington with its famous Tank Museum, the Swannery and gardens at Abbotsbury, children's entertainment at Crealy and Monkey World, and a host of fine houses and gardens open to the public. Bustling resorts like Lyme Regis, West Bay and Weymouth, all offering a wide range of seaside holiday activities, are within easy reach. Whilst inland towns such as Dorchester, Sherborne and Bridport, offer a mixture of history, culture and charm.
