Open the large double-glazed doors at the front to embrace the splendid views of Salcombe Estuary, making mornings truly special. En suite toilet facilities are conveniently located. The amenity block is a short stroll away.

These shepherd huts offer a truly sumptuous experience, with wonderful fixtures and fittings. Rest on 600 thread count pure cotton linen, and cosy up with gorgeous throws and blankets during colder months. We provide BBQs and all necessary equipment, along with BBQ cleaner for easy use.

Please note that while the huts are suitable for people with limited mobility, there are steps to access them. However, the washroom facilities boast full disabled access.

Accommodation

We are nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by glorious scenery, the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. We have a range of pods available, including our lovely hiker pods and cosy glamping pods.

We have 9 types of pods to choose from, all ideal for a memorable retreat in a wonderful setting. The pods sleep 2, 3, 4 or 5 people, great for couples or families.

Our luxury hot tub pods all come with a fully equipped kitchen, comfy dining area and large shower room with a heated towel rack and shaving point. Outside there is a private balcony to relax on whilst savouring the views. You can soak away your troubles away in the luxurious hot tub.

We also have small, large and family hiker pods, including some with en facilities. Our larger hiker pod comes with a sofa bed and our family en suite pod comes with a double and 2 single beds. All of our hiker pods also come with a TV, fridge, microwave, kettle and mugs (apart from our small hiker pod).

Onsite we also have a playpark and shop.

Our park is in a great location for exploring the area. You can visit some of Scotland’s finest scenery, including Kilchurn Castle, Ben Lui, Ben Cruachan, Falls of Dochart and the Green Welly Stop. In the heart of historic Chichsester, The Old Grocery offers luxurious self-catering accommodation within easy walking distance of independent shops and restaurants. We offer a truly personal ‘home from home’ experience, perfect for an unforgettable getaway.

The Old Grocery gets its name from the local census from 1871 onwards which shows a local grocer, Mr Henry Stoner, his wife Charlotte and their lodger Mr Harris, the grocer’s assistant, lived at the house. The property has been beautifully refurbished & now offers luxurious accommodation to provide a tranquil and indulgent holiday experience.

On arrival, we offer a few fabulous treats to make the start of your stay as perfect as possible. You can look forward to complimentary tea and cake or a cream tea as well as some local treats. We also offer a complimentary bottle of fizz in the fridge for stays of 5 days or more. Milk, tea, coffee and sugar are always left for your arrival.

The stylish living room is great for unwinding in with friends or family after a busy day sightseeing. Watch your favourite show on the large widescreen smart TV and DVD/Blu player. We also offer a brilliant variety of board games for some evening fun.

Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen. We have everything you need, including a spice rack, a range cooker with double oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and a Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules. The open plan living space is ideal for entertaining, allowing the whole family to be together. French windows open into a delightful patio area with a bistro table for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine on a sunny afternoon.

On the first floor, there is a sumptuous master king room with a lavish en suite bathroom with a larger shower cubicle and bathtub. A bunk bedroom is also on this floor and is great for children. The second floor has a double bedroom and an adjoining bathroom. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request. On the ground floor, there is a further WC and shower. Towels, bathrobes and beach towels are provided.

We can help arrange a light grocery shop and unpack for you if you are arriving late in the evening, please give us prior notice of at least 2 – 3 days. We can also help with restaurant bookings and can offer a trusted local babysitter.

Located at the foot of the South Downs, the glorious cathedral city of Chichester offers superb restaurants, interesting independent shops and fascinating attractions for all. Only a few minutes away is the majestic Chichester Cathedral, home to magnificent architecture, modern art and the immaculate Bishops Palace Gardens. 

You can enjoy a variety of brilliant events held at Goodwood every year, including the renowned Festival of Speed. Goodwood also offers horse racing, golf and a range of motor and aviation experiences.
