Our cottage boasts amazing views over Loch Fyne and has been beautifully renovated to offer modern accommodation. The cottage sleeps up to 8 people.

The living room boasts many of its original features and has fabulous views on offer. It has a dining area with a large table and ample seating for 8. The lounge also has a flat screen television, Satellite TV, DVD player, library and board games.

Our well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen has large cooking surfaces perfect for those with larger parties to cater for. The kitchen is equipped with a large stove-style cooker with gas hob, microwave, larder fridge with chilled water dispenser and dishwasher. All crockery is supplied. There is also an attractive breakfast bar providing a comfortable and informal eating area overlooking the lounge and loch.

We have 4 bedrooms available, including 1 ground-floor twin, 1 ground-floor bunk room and 2 double rooms, including 1 en suite. In total, there are 4 bathrooms. All the bedrooms have been furnished to an extremely high standard.

We have a pleasant outdoor seating area with a barbecue, perfect for those summer months. Our holiday cottage has Wi-Fi throughout and boasts all the modern conveniences you could possibly need during your Scottish break.

Accommodation

Our fabulous Scottish retreat is ideal for an unforgettable getaway in a unique location. The house sleeps up to 15 people and is finished to a high standard.

We have a traditional farmhouse style kitchen with a large table and a 4 oven Aga. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay as relaxing as possible including a dishwasher, microwave, food processor and an additional gas cooker. Adjoining the kitchen is a large cool larder with a fridge freezer. A separate laundry room has a washing machine, dryer and an ironing board. The dining room is furnished with antiquities and for a more informal dining experience there’s a large table in the kitchen, the perfect place to enjoy a warm, cosy meal. There is also a highchair if you’re staying with children.

We have a range of charming bedrooms available, including 4 double rooms, 2 twin rooms and 1 single room. All of them have been furnished to a high standard and provide the perfect place to relax after a day’s exploring. 4 bathrooms are also available.

We have a billiards room for our guests to enjoy and a spacious drawing room complete with a lovely fire, ideal for those winter evenings. There is a number of facilities at our fabulous retreat including a barbecue and garden furniture for al fresco dining.

We boast a fabulous tennis court on site as well for our guests to enjoy throughout the duration of their stay.

Situated in Strathlachlan on the shores of Loch Fyne, we are a great base to explore a range of attractions in the local area. The lounge has a panoramic wood burning stove which warms all the rooms and there is a 40 inch LED 3 D Smart TV with built in Wi-fi. There is off street parking for up to 5 cars and Lakeview is only a two minute walk from the lake and sand beach. There is a private decked area which overlooks the stunning countryside. There is a tennis court, private forest walk and large lawn - a perfect holiday home for your family with lots of outdoor space. Linen and towels are provided.

Stables

Our eco friendly barn conversion sleeps 4-5 people in two bedrooms, all on the ground floor. There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, halogen hob, fridge & freezer, iron and board. There is a wood burning stove with exposed brick chimney, 32 inch LCD digital TV with satellite Freeview and DVD player. Both of the bedrooms have an en suite with two single beds which can be zip linked to make one super king bed. Wi-fi available throughout the house. There is a patio area and greenhouse outside. Linen and towels are provided.

Rafters

Rafters is on the top floor of our eco barn conversion and sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms. There are lovely views of the surrounding farmland from Rafters. There is a fully equipped, modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine/tumble drier, microwave, Halogen hob, fridge & freezer and the dining table seats 6 people. The living room has a leather suite with TV and DVD player. There is a double bedroom which can either have two single beds or a zip linked super king bed and there is a double sofa bed in a separate living room. The Rafters also has special features to be wheelchair friendly - please enquire for details. Rafters has a separate decked area with BBQ and garden furniture.

Facilities / Activities Available

There are outstanding facilities available at Fermanagh Self Catering with a private tennis court for guests use which can also be used for playing football on. Children are well entertained with trampoline, slide, climbing frame, swings, tree house, sand pit area and lots of outdoor toys. We have our own wood that you can walk through or play in. It is a short walk through the woods to the stunning lake and sandy beach. We also have a games room onsite with snooker/pool table, football table and a TV with Wii and games. These are all free for guests to enjoy.

We can also arrange licensed archery, cross bow, canoeing, segways, kayaking, bike or fishing hire, or hiring of a rowing boat is available by request (at a small extra cost). Hot tubs are also available.

Local Area

Fermanagh offers plenty to discover including the 60 acre lake which is a short stroll from the accommodation. This has a bird hide, 3.5km walk over land and water, fishing areas and beach/paddling area. Other places to visit nearby include:

Clock Farm House offers wonderful self catering accommodation 10 minutes from the centre of York. Our luxurious property in North Yorkshire is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making us the perfect town/country retreat.

Accommodation

This charming farmhouse sleeps up to 10 people and has been superbly restored to offer modern accommodation.

The large farmhouse kitchen comes with a large electric range oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer. The kitchen also has an iPhone/iPad docking station and a large table which seats up to 12 people. This property benefits from having two lounges to unwind in. Both come with leather chairs, sofas, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, games console and lovely bay windows which look out to open farm fields.

All the bedrooms are on the first floor and beautifully furnished. The master en suite room comes with a king size bed and the four other bedrooms comes with super king size bed or twins. Upstairs there is also a spacious family bathroom, separate shower and further large shower room. Downstairs is a WC.

Outside is a large garden which opens onto paddocks and farm fields. The garden comes with seating and a BBQ is on the patio. There is also a small fish pond in the garden which is covered by a safety grid.

Wing House is the self-contained Georgian Wing of Gunthorpe Hall and enjoys views of the beautifully landscaped gardens, parkland and fishing lake. Original architectural features and room-scale have been retained to provide a unique living space.

Wing House is situated in the picturesque estate of Gunthorpe Hall and there is ample parking for visitors. For children, there are the fun seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham, as well as many local attractions including WildRootz at Pensthorpe Natural Park where children can learn the wonders of the natural world and run free. Or head to Norfolk's best large visitor attraction of 2013, Dinosaur Adventure at Lenwade - an all-weather monster attraction set in 100 acres of woodland, with indoor and outdoor adventure play areas. For adults, both Blickling and Holkham Hall are a delight for the senses, with beautiful walks around the grounds and a selection of tea and cakes while you rest your weary legs. You can take a trip with Beans Seal Trips out to Blakeney Point which is only a 10-minute drive away.

There are a huge number of bespoke, quality, local eateries serving fresh local Norfolk specialities such as locally reared Pork and Beef, Cromer Crab, Lobster, Strawberries and much, much more. The Dun Cow at Salthouse is a popular choice for us, as well as The Crown at Wells. There is also the Kings Head at Letheringsett which is only 10 minutes down the road and has a wonderful garden for children to play in while Mum and Dad can relax with a glass of wine in the sun.
