Finished and furnished to an excellent standard, the layout includes an entrance landing and hallway with seating, a kitchen with dining space, a four-poster bedroom with seating and en-suite shower room, a super king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, and two double bedrooms, each with their own en-suite shower rooms. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the accommodation.
Mid Lodge – Sleeps 7
Mid Lodge provides spacious family holiday accommodation in a quiet and peaceful setting within the exclusive grounds of Penninghame House. Located just a short walk from the main house and the scenic riverside walks along the River Cree, the cottage features a bright conservatory sitting room with dining area and a large patio with barbecue for al fresco dining.
All accommodation is on one level and finished to a high standard, making it ideal for a comfortable and stress-free stay. The layout includes ramp access to the entrance hall, a kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, two twin bedrooms (one en-suite), a single bedroom, a separate WC and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Gardeners Cottage – Sleeps 4
Gardeners Cottage is a traditional Galloway cottage set beside the walled garden, offering a spacious and comfortable base for families within the Penninghame Estate. Thoughtfully modernised while retaining its original charm, the cottage features two ground-floor single bedrooms, a cosy sitting room with dining area overlooking the garden, a kitchen with Belfast sink and outdoor access, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Upstairs, a welcoming double bedroom completes this warm and relaxing retreat.
West Lodge – Sleeps 10
West Lodge is a detached holiday cottage within the grounds of the Penninghame Estate. Modernised while preserving its original character, the property offers generous space for relaxation, with a snug sitting room and a dining room seating eight, along with additional seating and a TV area on the first-floor landing.
The ground floor includes a well-equipped kitchen with Belfast sink, utility area and WC, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom overlooking the grounds, a shower room and access to garden seating areas. Bruce Apartment forms part of the former stable block at Penninghame House and offers stylish first-floor accommodation accessed via a flight of sandstone steps. Finished to a high standard throughout, the apartment includes a spacious kitchen with dining area, a comfortable sitting room, a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, three single bedrooms, two additional shower rooms and a welcoming hallway. Set in a peaceful and private location, Penninghame House and Gardens enjoys easy access to the nearby market town of Newton Stewart, with its independent shops, hotels and tearooms.
