From Manesty you can step out into a walking adventure straight from the door, be it a relaxing ramble along the river or lakeshore; a rewarding walk up the famous Catbells (the path starts right next to us); or a long day hike taking in some of Borrowdale’s high fells or the Newland’s Horseshow. Grange boasts a picturesque stone bridge, a shallow gravelly stretch of the River Derwent, ideal for paddling and exploring, and a café offering delicious home-cooked food. The rocky shores of southwest Derwent Water are ideal for exploring, picnicking and skimming stones!
