Accommodation

Our ground-floor level cottage has been tastefully converted from the dairy adjoining the owner’s farmhouse. The cottage dates from 1860 and still retains lots of original character and sleeps up to 2 people. Features include a beamed ceiling and exposed stone walls in the large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room.

Inside we have a well-equipped kitchen with fitted oak units, a built-in electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave oven, refrigerator, iron, toaster and all necessary utensils. The lounge and dining room offers a great spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. Facilities include a 2-seater sofa, a flat-screen Smart TV, plus a DVD and CD player and an Ipod dock.

The bedroom comes with a double bed and there is a bathroom with a shower over bath and wash basin and WC.

Outside we have a patio and garden table and chairs, ideal for a drink or two in the afternoon sun.

Our cottage is only half a mile from Thomas Hardy’s Church at St Juliot, whilst the south west coastal path is a mile away. Boscastle is only one and a half miles away. You can also enjoy sandy surfing beaches or explore the wild rugged scenery of Bodmin Moor. Activities in the area include fishing, cycling, rock climbing and golfing

Tresquare Cottage Boscastle offers charming self-catering accommodation in the delightful village of Boscastle. We are perfect for an idyllic getaway in a lovely area of Cornwall.

Accommodation

Our spacious cottage sleeps up to 8 people and a cot is available on request. Outside there is a large lawned garden and parking for 4 vehicles.

On the ground floor, we have a double en suite room. A well-equipped kitchen/dining room comes with a range of appliances: a built-in double oven, microwave oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The dining area has seating for up to 8 people and a flat-screen smart TV. The utility room houses the automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

Unwind in the cosy lounge that comes with a flat-screen smart TV and a Blu-ray home theatre system, an I-pod dock and an open fireplace. French doors lead to the sun lounge which opens onto a spacious south-facing patio with a table, chairs and BBQ for al fresco dining.

A sold teak staircase leads to the first floor that a double room and a family room with a double bed and 2 singles. The main bathroom has a bath, wash basin and WC.

We are only around 200 yards from the village, the renowned Cobweb Inn and the coastal path. Boscastle is set in the centre of some of Europe’s most dramatic rugged coastline. Eden Cottage offers charming self catering accommodation in the picturesque village of Boscastle, the setting for the BBC 2 acclaimed series "A Seaside Parish". Located in a beautiful part of Cornwall, we are an excellent base for visiting National Trust Houses & Gardens, The Eden Project and Tintagel Castle.

Accommodation

Our wonderful cottage dates from the 18th Century and is brimming with character, the ideal ‘home from home’. The property sleeps 2 – 3 people and has been recently refurbished to offer cosy accommodation in a tranquil setting.

You can unwind in the lovely sitting room which a slate open fireplace, beamed ceiling, TV, DVD player, comfy seating and stereo. A well-equipped kitchen is great for making some tasty home-cooked dishes and includes hobs, a fridge and microwave etc. The shower room has a washbasin and toilet and upstairs there is a bedroom with a beautiful, beamed ceiling which includes a double and single.

Outside there is a delightful patio to the front of the cottage. You are welcome to bring your dog. with a very small secure garden area outside to the rear of the cottage, perfect for allowing them to stretch their legs.

Boscastle is a traditional Cornish village with gorgeous old cottages lined along the ‘Old Road’ to the harbour. You can also visit an array of historical houses and stunning gardens or visit quaint villages such as Port Isaac or Clovelly. The area has lots of golf courses, sandy beaches and scenic cycle routes. Alternatively, you can simply stroll around our village and savour the specular scenery of the coastline. The farmhouse is brimming with character and comes with a range of excellent facilities, including a ding flat-screen TV, a DVD player and Wi-Fi. On the ground floor, there is a snug with a toasty log burner, a dining hall and a lounge area with access to the garden. Downstairs there is also a fully equipped kitchen, shower room, downstairs cloakroom and utility room.

Upstairs there is a dual-aspect main bedroom with a comfy king-size bed, offering a lovely place to wake up to the stunning sea and country views. A double, twin and single room are also available. The bathroom boasts a lavish free-standing bath and a large shower.
