A stylish bar area with high stools and a TV creates a relaxed, social space ideal for gatherings. A utility area with washing facilities and a convenient loo completes the ground floor amenities.

On the first floor, guests can unwind in the living room, which offers wonderful views over the beach and a TV for entertainment. This floor also includes two comfortable bedrooms – one super king and one double. The second floor houses two further bedrooms, both super kings, each with its own en suite bathroom.

The top floor is perfect for children, featuring one bedroom with a double and single bed, and another bedroom with two sets of double bunk beds – ideal for family stays or larger groups.

Terraced Cottage is a lovely, gas centrally heated holiday cottage situated in Leiston, Suffolk. The cottage is just four miles from the town of Aldeburgh and only about two miles from the North Sea coastline.

The cottage sleeps 5 in three bedrooms. There is a double, twin and single bedroom. Downstairs there is a bathroom, sitting room with gas fire, dining room and kitchen, plus there is an outside enclosed courtyard style garden.

There is plenty to see and do in the area, with something for all ages. Of course, the coast is nearby too. Other attractions to visit nearby include:

Beaver Cottage, Aldeburgh, Suffolk

Beaver Cottage is a cosy self catering holiday home that can sleep up to 6 guests and is located in a lovely part of Suffolk by Aldeburgh. This holiday home is attached to Cob House, one of the largest Aldeburgh houses and is set in 11 acres of land going down to the River Alde. Guests have access to all this land, providing plenty of space to walk and explore. There is a small beach down by the river from which you can fish and swim when the tide is right.

From our holiday home guests can enjoy wonderful views of the river; we even have a couple of kayaks available for you to borrow during your stay. Our holiday home has three bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen and a small but adequate bathroom with bath and shower over.

Beaver Cottage has a small private garden of its own but you have access to all 11 acres of the grounds. 

Aldeburgh is a traditional East coast seaside town. It has a Summer Theatre which has productions nightly over the summer months, along a beautiful beach, two of the best fish and chip shops in Britain and its festival that runs in June. If you are keen to learn to sail then the yacht club has tuition on the River Alde or you can watch the many races on weekends throughout the Summer.

Our holiday home is 5 miles from Snape, home of the Snape Maltings. The Maltings have music throughout the year including the Proms in August and the Festival in June featuring many famous names. We are also only a 15 minute drive from the RSPB bird reserve, Minsmere and in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

Beaver Cottage is a wonderful place to experience it all whatever the weather. The property is surrounding by wildlife, owls and plenty of wonderful places that are just waiting to be explored.
