The Old Orchard offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in Dundonald, ideally situated on the edge of Belfast within a peaceful rural setting. Surrounded by countryside, the property provides an excellent base for an idyllic County Down getaway, combining easy access to the city with the tranquillity of a countryside retreat.

Accommodation

The cottage sleeps up to six guests and enjoys far-reaching views across the Castlereagh and Craigantlet Hills, extending as far as Scrabo Tower. Designed with accessibility in mind, the property is well suited to elderly guests and those with disabilities. A ramp leads from the courtyard to the double front doors, and all doors, light switches, handles and appliances are accessible for wheelchair and walking-frame users. A welcome pack is provided on arrival.

Accommodation is arranged over two floors. On the first floor, a cosy sitting room features a television, DVD player and a wood-burning stove, creating a relaxing space to unwind. The ground floor includes a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave, alongside a utility area with a washer dryer. The dining room comfortably seats six guests.

The cottage offers three bedrooms, including a ground-floor double en-suite room with wide door access and a wet room. Upstairs, there is a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, both with en-suite facilities and thermostatic showers. All bed linen and towels are provided for a comfortable stay.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private, enclosed patio area with barbecue facilities, ideal for relaxed outdoor dining. A garden gate opens directly onto surrounding fields, while the fully fenced garden and patio areas make the property dog friendly. Use of a kennel and run is available by prior arrangement.
