Orchard Lee is a family-friendly holiday home that is situated in the countryside outside of Wellow near Yarmouth in the Isle of Wight. The holiday cottage has wonderful views of fields, downs and forest. This holiday home is an ideal base from which to explore the island while still being in a quiet location for a relaxing breakaway.

This holiday cottage has been designed to give ease of access. Designed to give ease of access, being all on one level, the house has 4 bedrooms all with en suite bath/shower rooms, including a “wet room” enabling seated showering. All of the bedrooms are made up and ready for your arrival and for smaller parties the house can be divided and rented at a lower price. Beds are made up and ready for your arrival with duvets. Alternatively, sheets and blankets are available on request. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

In the living area, there are sofas, easy chairs, a television with Freeview, a DVD player and a radio/CD player. This leads to a relaxed and informal dining area that can seat 10 people and has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.

The holiday cottage has a well-equipped kitchen that includes:

Washer/dryer.

Electric cooker.

Microwave.

Fridge

Toaster.

Coffee maker.

Food processor.

The garden is accessed through the wide French windows from both the living and dining area. There is garden and patio furniture provided allowing you to enjoy some al fresco dining while taking in the stunning views.

All heating and electric are included within the rates and there is underfloor heating throughout the holiday cottage.

Our holiday cottage is located on a bus route and is only 1.5 miles from the centre of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. Yarmouth has a ferry, harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants. There is direct access to footpaths and bridleways and the house is near to beaches and riverside, and the nature reserve at Newtown.

Orchard Lee is a single storey, wide-verandahed country bungalow, with “green” geothermal underfloor heating. The house accommodates 8+2 in 4 bedrooms, or outside high season, each self-contained wing of the bungalow offers 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 +1. 

South facing, with wide views over fields to downs and forest, Orchard Lee provides “green” holidays enjoying the peace of the West Wight countryside, in the splendid setting of a meadow, beyond the orchard and gardens of our listed farmhouse.

Situated on a bus route, it is about a mile and a half from the picturesque little town of Yarmouth with ferry, harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants. There is direct access to footpaths and bridleways, and the house is near to beaches and riverside, and the nature reserve at Newtown.

Tudor Lee is a self contained 16th century wing of our Listed Island stone farm house with one bedroom sleeping 2 +1. It has its own entrance through a large conservatory which has a dining table for “semi outdoor” dining and relaxing. A mature garden, with lawn and flowers, patio, garden furniture and a barbecue, is dedicated for use of guests, providing good outdoor living space in a peaceful environment sheltered by a little copse.

The house is situated about a mile and a half from the picturesque little town of Yarmouth, with ferry, harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants, and with good access to beaches and riverside, country and coastal walks as well as the nature reserve at Newtown.

“Tudor Lee” has been furnished to provide a luxurious hideaway, with new furnishings, a 6ft bed (which may be used as two 3ft single divans), a splendid bathroom, and with a very high standard of electrical equipment for your holiday.  With good heating, it is warm and welcoming outside the summer months.

Eastern Lee, a chalet bungalow, is our newest luxury holiday home. It is perched above the village of Wellow in a secluded garden, with fields surrounding the house on two sides. Eastern Lee offers peaceful country views and easy access to walks and long distance trails. 

Originally built in 1931 as a bungalow, it was extended and refurbished to luxury standards in 2008. Geothermal heating and environmentally friendly technology offer ‘green’ holidays in the peace of the West Wight countryside.
