Willow Cottage is a Four-star self-catering holiday cottage for two, within the conservation village of Wolsingham, in the Durham Dales, Weardale, County Durham, North East England. Willow Cottage can be dated on local plans to the early 1800s, but at this date, the cottage along with the cottage beside it were outbuildings to a larger house. Today it has been refurbished with many of the periods features still retained, including sash windows, oak floors, exposed beams and a feature stone fireplace.

Ground Floor:

With solid oak flooring and an exposed feature stone fireplace with a cast iron stove, the sitting/dining room is ideal for cosy nights in after a day exploring the Dales and the surrounding area. A door leads through to the well-equipped country-style kitchen.

First Floor:

A double bedroom with a beamed ceiling and quality pine furnishings and coordinated decor. Through louvre doors and two steps, down is a spacious bathroom with three piece contemporary white suite.

Cottage Facilities:

Electric hob & oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, Automatic washer/dryer, iron & ironing board, TV, DVD player, Radio/CD player, a selection of DVDs, CDs, books & games & tourist information pack.

Gas central heating, electricity, towels and bed linen are all included in the rent of this cosy cottage.

Wolsingham known as 'the gateway to the Weardale' is located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is well situated for exploring all the attractions in the North Pennines and County Durham.

Wolsingham has everyday shopping, a selection of pubs serving meals, fast food takeaways and cafes, all of which can be reached within a leisurely stroll.

Willow Cottage is a delightful self catering holiday home, located at Bognor Regis near Chichester in West Sussex. 

A delightful cottage nestled in its own private garden surrounded by open farmland. It is a light and airy property fully furnished and modernised throughout. 

All linen and beach towels included. Outside we have a BBQ and an outbuilding that houses a washing machine and dryer.

The en suite provides a large shower area with instant hot water. French doors open out onto a south westerly facing patio and garden via the bedroom or lounge. 

This area of the South East enjoys the best weather in the U.K. It offers diverse landscape from the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park to the lovely unspoilt sandy beaches at West Wittering. This area is steeped in history and offers many fabulous places to visit.

Willow Cottage is a recently converted brick farm building set in its own grounds on the bank of a large, traditional Suffolk farm pond – a highlight of staying here is sitting on the decking, watching the sun set through the many willow trees whilst admiring the various water fowl and birds around the pond.

Maybe it is just possible to hear the occasional tractor driving along our country lane (some 50 metres away) but otherwise all is peace and tranquillity.

Immediately outside the cottage’s entrance gate is a bridleway with links to an extensive network of well marked public footpaths across the adjoining fields with stunning views over miles of unspoilt Suffolk countryside. There is also a well-worn path in the other direction to our local pub!
