Danny Cottage offers fantastic self-catering accommodation in the charming village of Hurstpierpoint, based in a lovely area of West Sussex. We are a haven for walkers, with several woodland walks right on our doorstep.

Our luxurious property is tastefully furnished and comes with everything you need for a magical getaway. In total, the cottage sleeps up to 5 people.

Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen which a range of appliances for home cooking, including a coffee maker and dishwasher. After a walk in the countryside, unwind in the cosy lounge which comes with comfy seating and a toasty log burner for the winter months. Enjoy some delicious food around the dining table which seats 6 people.

We have 3 attractive bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin/king and 1 single. Upstairs there is a bathroom and downstairs there is a further bathroom as well.

Outside there is a large garden with a wonderful lawn and patio for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.

Hurstpierpoint is a delightful village which has excellent restaurants and pubs. You can stroll around boutique shops and enjoy glorious countryside walks. If you would like to explore the regency city of Brighton or the historic market town of Lewes they are both close by. Glyndebourne the world-famous and world-class opera house is approximately 30 minutes drive away. A variety of great days out are in the local area:

Locka Old Hall Cottage, Arkholme, Carnforth, Lancashire, Sleeps 1-4

Locka Old Hall Cottage offers superb self-catering accommodation located close to Arkholme near the small town of Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage is perfect for a romantic break away and is great for any keen walker. Centrally located, our holiday home is the ideal solution for exploring Lancashire, Cumbria, The Forest of Bowland, Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The main living area in the holiday cottage is open plan and spacious offering a TV, DVD player, wood-burning stove and comfortable seating. The lounge also has a double sofa bed for any extra guests.

There is a modern kitchen that offers everything you will need including a hob, electric oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and a fridge.

The bedroom in the self-catering cottage has a king-size sleigh bed and is located adjacent to the shower room where there is a shower, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail.

There is a private garden that has lawns, a decking area and garden furniture. This is a lovely place to relax with a drink.

In Arkholme you will find a pub that serves delicious food and a range of drinks, a children's playground and two churches. The nearby towns of Carnforth and Kirkby Lonsdale both have supermarkets and petrol stations. Guests can visit Lake Windermere and Coniston Water during their stay as well as many national Trust properties including Cartmel Priory, Beatrix Potter’s House and Sizergh Castle.
